Nepal: Islamist group involved in trafficking of Hindu girls

In a shocking turn of events, two Hindu girls, aged 15 and 14, were forcefully abducted from their residence in Dhanusha, Nepal, by a group comprising six Islamist men and two Islamist women. The abduction, which occurred under the cover of darkness, has plunged the community into turmoil and sparked widespread outrage. According to local sources, the Islamist gang is suspected of involvement in the human trafficking of Hindu girls across various cities in Bharat, adding a grave dimension to the incident.

Escalating tensions amid arrest of Hindu activist

Amidst fervent appeals from the local Hindu community for the immediate rescue of the abducted girls, tensions escalated when the police apprehended a Hindu woman activist named Lakshmi. The arrest, which occurred during protests demanding swift action from law enforcement, only served to exacerbate the situation, prompting a surge in violent demonstrations. In a recent update, it’s been reported that Lakshmi has been freed by the authorities. However, there’s widespread criticism of how the police have managed the situation.

Calls for urgent action

As the search for the missing girls continues, Hindu organizations have intensified their calls for urgent action, accusing the Nepal police of succumbing to pressure from Islamist and leftist influences. With the fate of the abducted girls hanging in the balance, Hindu organizations have issued a stern ultimatum to law enforcement authorities, demanding the immediate rescue of the girls within a specified time frame. The incident underscores the gravity of the situation and highlights the urgent need for decisive action to ensure the safe return of the abducted girls and restore faith in the authorities’ ability to safeguard vulnerable communities.

The authorities apprehended a suspected trafficker in March for allegedly attempting to traffic a minor Hindu girl under the guise of ‘love’, with intentions to transport her to Nepal from Bharat. The striking resemblance of this incident to the recent abduction of two Hindu girls suggests a pattern of meticulously planned and executed crimes. While it remains uncertain whether these incidents are directly linked, the similarities raise alarming concerns about a targeted campaign against Hindus, with traffickers exploiting vulnerabilities under the guise of affection.
