PM Modi security breach is latest incident with grave consequences for our global standing

PM Modi’s security breach has grave consequences that no one is analysing.

Like an armoured vehicle is safe only when mobile so is a VVIP convoy. Mobility, speed ensure that no one can pinpoint location and target the convoy by sniper, Rocket Launcher etc.

PM convoy was held stationary in a kill zone (no lateral movement possible on flyover) for 20 minutes. Even 30 seconds is enough to launch a devastating attack with ATGMs and RLs. Or they could have laid demolition charges on bridge before hand and detonated it when convoy was stopped in pre selected location in kill zone. This was a potentially catastrophic situation that is just shocking. Worst nightmare for any competent protection agency like SPG.

When INT agencies, diplomats across the world analyse this they will see that government of Bharat’s writ does not run in some parts of Bharat. They have already assessed that in Bengal. Now Punjab will be added. This will badly weaken Bharat’s and PM Modi’s standing globally. Make no mistake about this despite what some ex-diplomats like Vohra, Sibal will say on TV. Our claim as a regional power stands badly tarnished.

This will also affect us in our day to day dealings with Pakistan and China as they see a progressively weakening government.

Khalistanis will receive a huge boost, especially in Canada, US and UK. Gurudwaras will see celebration. Attacks on Bharat’s interests will start. They have increased anti-Bharat actions in a calibrated way since 26th January last and found Bharatiya government retreating at every step. Next action will be calibrated higher.

Other states will now start testing the government’s resolve.

This is, therefore, a more serious issue with graver consequences than we think.
