Attacks on Hindu temple continues in West Bengal. This time, unknown miscreants cut the head of Bhagwan Shiva murti at Srihatta village under the jurisdiction of Baranya Police Station of Murshidabad district.
Notably, the villagers were preparing for upcoming Kali Puja. In the village temple, a Murti was being constructed. On the night of 8th October, two bike borne miscreants came in the temple premises. One of the miscreant broke the head of Bhagwan Shiva from the Murti and fled away in the bike. The whole incident was recording CCTV camera.

Before Kali Puja, 2 unknown miscreants came in bike and broke the head of Bhagwan Shiva. The incident happened at Srihatta village under Baranya Police Station.

Meanwhile, in the next morning, the local Hindus saw that the Murti had been vandalised. This incident created tension in area. After receiving information, a team of the Police officials from the Baranya Police Station reached the village. The Police Officials analysed the CCTV footage.
Later, a complaint was filed, whose no is 442/23, dated 09/11/23. The Police is trying to identify the miscreants. As of now, no one has been arrested so far.
