West Bengal: A Saraswati Pratima has been vandalised in the most despicable manner possible in South 24 Parganas district

As attacks on the Hindu minorities continue in Bangladesh, similar hate crimes can be seen in Bharat’s West Bengal too. Almost every Hindu festivity is being targeted and attacked. But this latest case from Moudi Hat village under the jurisdiction of Bishnupur Police Station of South 24 Parganas district has exceeded all depths of depravity.

As per reports & eyewitnesses, the Saraswati Puja mandap was vandalised and the garments of the Devi Pratima were stripped and thrown on the ground. Not just that, the private parts of the Pratima were specifically violated, including with what seem like bite marks.

All the items used in Puja were also found broken by distraught devotees.

Upon seeing this act of vandalism and desecration, angry locals blocked a key road for hours. As of now, there is no news of any arrests in this disturbing hate crime.
