The unheard story of the Maulvi-instigated Islamist rampage in Udayagiri, Mysore

What happened at midnight on Feb 10 at the Udayagiri Police Station in Mysore is still unknown to most. It was one of the most brutal attacks on police in recent times by Islamists.

Provocative slogans, stone pelting, arson, 14 cops injured, all over one MEME.

A short thread

At 2 AM, Muslim mob of 1000+ gathered outside the Udayagiri Police Station to protest against a meme and demanding the arrest of Suresh. It was a meme posted on WhatsApp by Suresh. The meme visibly seems harmless.

All it had was the former Delhi CM wearing a skull cap.

The mob started shouting provocative slogans demanding not just the arrest of Suresh but far brutal action-some we don’t want to mention here. See for it yourself in the next tweet.

It is alleged that after provocative slogans by Maulvi Mufti Mushtaq Maqbuli, over 1,000 started protesting and later attacked the police station.

This footage reveals how a police convoy was attacked by the stone pelters. This is not Kashmir or Gaza, but Karnataka’s Mysore.

CCTV footage reveals that there were incidents of arson too along with the stone pelting.

Now, the police have filed FIRs against 1000 people and but only a dozen have been arrested. According to police sources, now banned PFI’s student wing SDPI’s link has also emerged.
