Students Federation of India (SFI) goons locked up a young female student in a dark room for one and a half hours. This was retaliation for conducting an Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) membership campaign in her college. The shocking incident took place at Kannur Government Polytechnic College.
K Aradhana, a first-year textile department student, was locked up for about one and a half hours. A complaint has been filed with the principal about the incident. Most principals are either CPM members, while others fear the militant characteristics of CPM-backed SFI and DYFI.
The SFI team who carried out the indecent assault asked Aradhana to remove the Rakhi (Raksha Bandhan) tied to her wrist. When the brave girl asked them why, they proclaimed it could be worn in this college. The goons verbally abused the victim, checked her bag, forced Aradhana into a dark room, and locked the door from the outside.
A hatred towards Hindu customs like the Rakhi is not new to South Bharat. HinduPost has reported how Christian and Islamist campus administrators have insulted the Raksha Bandhan. Such support has encouraged the Abrahamic and Hindu In Name Only (HINO) communists.
Her abductors refused even to allow Aradhana to go to the washroom. The goons threatened Aradhana to write on a white paper that there would be no ABVP organizational activities on campus. Her father had to arrive and release Aradhana from captivity. The principal was missing from campus, following which Edakkad police reached.
ABVP came out with a strong protest on the issue. ABVP district president Gibin Raj said that if the polytechnic principal protects the accused gang, legal action will be taken against him. Gibin promised to mobilize students to defend against communist atrocities and violence.
SFI activists Akash Babu, Anuprakash, Swaswat, Manas, Niranjana, Gopika, and Sukrita carried out the attack. It is shocking how Marxism corrupts our students, especially young girls. Kannur has a history of Marxist violence against political opponents. Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is himself accused of many such cases.
Jibin said that Kannur Government Polytechnic is a campus where democracy has been murdered for years. When other student organizations enter the campus, SFI follows the style of attacking them and not allowing them to operate in any way. (This fascist tendency has also moved to other colleges and districts.)
The ABVP leader pointed out that SFI talks about women’s safety 40 times an hour but does not hesitate to assault a girl for carrying out membership activities. How long will such atrocities against women continue in Kerala?
