Nadeem Shaikh alias Talli Hanif Shaikh, arrested for molesting a Hindu woman: Gujarat

Highlighting rising incidents of atrocities against Hindu girls and women, a case from Surat’s Rander has come to light. A man named Nadeem Shaikh has been accused of molesting a Hindu woman in Surat’s Rander area. The victim, a 40-year-old woman from Rajasthan, lives with her family in the Tatwadi area of Rander Road, where she runs a grocery shop. The victim has two children.

According to the victim’s complaint, on March 10, 2024, her husband was away at work in Ichchapore, and she was working in her shop early in the morning. She had to go to fetch milk when Nadeem Shaikh approached and assaulted her.

Shaikh asked the victim, “Where is your husband?” When the victim ignored him and continued her work, he grabbed her hand and pulled her towards him. He then made inappropriate comments and physically abused her, including touching her chest. He also threatened to kill her and her husband if she told anyone about the incident.

The victim reported the incident to her husband, who informed the police. The Rander police arrested Nadeem Hanif Shaikh, 27, from Noor-e-Ilahi Tenement behind the Post Mandap on Gorat Road, Rander, after the victim filed a police complaint.
