Muslim youths attacked grocery shop owner Sunita & her family over a trivial issue: UP

In the Wajidpur village of Baraut in Baghpat, a disturbing incident occurred when members of the Muslim community entered a house and attacked a Hindu family for not providing goods. Three people, including a woman, were injured in the incident.

Ramesh’s wife, Sunita, runs a grocery shop in Wajidpur village. When some youths from the Muslim community visited the shop in the morning and found it closed, they went to her house. They demanded the goods, but Sunita asked for some time as she was busy with work. This led to an argument, and the people from the Muslim community attacked Sunita with sticks and sharp weapons. Hearing the commotion, Sunita’s son Himanshu Sharma and nephew Aman Sharma rushed to the scene and were also injured in the altercation.

Sunita managed to inform the police, but the attackers escaped before the police arrived. The injured were taken to CHC, and Himanshu Sharma, in critical condition, was later admitted to a private hospital in Meerut. The victim filed a complaint at the police station against Kallu, Zaheer, Usman, and Manzoor, who were involved in the attack. A case has been registered based on the victim’s complaint, and according to Inspector Sanjay Kumar Sharma from Baraut, the accused will be arrested, presented in court, and sent to jail.
