Muslim teacher abducts 14-year-old Hindu student, parents fear Shraddha-like outcome: Begusarai, Bihar

A minor Hindu girl is alleged to have been groomed and abducted by teacher Mohammad Aamir in Bihar’s Begusarai district. Aamir runs a coaching center where the 14-year-old girl used to study for the last 4 years, i.e. since the age of 10.

As per the FIR lodged by the girl’s parents at Phulwaria police station, a few days back the family found out that Aamir had given her a mobile phone. The girl was looking scared for several days, and they now suspect that he might have been blackmailing her. The immediately stopped her coaching and arranged her tuition at another place.

On November 21, 2022, the girl left home saying she is going to study, but never returned. It was found that Aamir’s coaching center is also closed since then. The family believes Aamir lured the girl away. When they went to Aamir’s house to enquire, they were abused and chased away.

“When I reached Aamir’s house to complain about it, his father misbehaved with me and chased me away by abusing,” said the girl’s mother.

“I went to the house of Mohammad Aamir but his father misbehaved with me. He also levelled the allegation that my minor daughter took his son who is more than 20 years old, apart from Rs 1 lakh from the house,” she said.

The distressed mother fears that her daughter could suffer a fate like Shraddha Walkar.

“A large number of Hindu-Muslim cases are appearing before us. The life of my daughter is in danger. She might be killed like Shraddha was killed in Delhi,” she added.

Navin Kumar, SHO of Phulwaria police station, said: “We have registered an FIR against Mohammad Aamir and an investigation is underway. His mobile phone is under surveillance. The accused will be arrested soon.”

The FIR has been registered against the accused Mohammad Aamir under IPC 366A (procuration of minor girl). The police claims they are ‘conducting raids’ to recover the minor student, but the girl’s parents say police response has been unsatisfactory, which is a common complaint against Bihar police in such cases.

There have several incidents of Muslim teachers & tutors grooming and abducting their Hindu girl students:

  2. This is a rampant problem. I recently also learned that someone I knew: his cousin was being groomed by her Muslim tuition teacher. Luckily parents came to know and they immediately took girl out of coaching class. This was in Haryana (in Delhi NCR region). Please all Hindu parents do NOT send your daughter to any Muslim coaching center.
