Madrasa teacher Mohd Tahseen accused of molesting students and raping a colleague: Bihar

In Bihar’s Purnia district, madrasa teacher Mohammad Tahseen has been accused of molesting girl students and raping a female colleague. Villagers are demanding strict action against Tahseen. It is alleged that he used to take female students to a room in the madrasa for massages. However, the head of the madrasa is supporting the accused, claiming the allegations are false. It is reported that Tahseen and the head cleric are relatives.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the Shrikhand block of Purnia, at Madrasa Miftaul Uloom in Rahikpur, where Tahseen works as an assistant teacher. The female cook of the madrasa and many villagers are demanding action against him. They allege that he has an illicit relationship with a female teacher at the madrasa, and some objectionable videos of the accused have been circulated.

Villagers also claim that he takes older girls studying at the madrasa to a room above the madrasa for massages. They have complained to the District Education Officer, the Madrasa Board, and the head Maulvi of the Madrasa, demanding Tahseen’s immediate removal and legal action against him.

According to Markub Alam, several complaints of misconduct against female students have occurred. He believes that his actions negatively affect the educational environment, and if not addressed, girls may stop attending the madrasa.

Tahseen has denied the allegations, calling the protests against him a conspiracy. The head Maulvi, Mohammad Ejazul, also does not believe the allegations are true. However, he has stated that the complaint will be investigated, and appropriate action will be taken. Some villagers speculate that the head Maulvi’s support for the accused is due to their relationship.
