Another case of Love Jihad was recently unearthed in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh. A woman has filed a complaint against one Aslam, who hid his identity as ‘Sanjay’ and married her, after which he started forcing her to convert to Islam. An FIR has been filed against the accused, but he has not yet been arrested.
The woman worked in a cement factory when she met Aslam aka ‘Sanjay’. He then lured her into a relationship. In 2021, they married in a temple and lived in Jabalpur for around a year, but the man used to travel to Fatehpur, UP, frequently.
When the woman insisted on accompanying him to Fatehpur, his real identity was revealed, and her life was turned upside-down. The man she thought was ‘Sanjay’ turned out to be Aslam. When she raised her voice against his lies and deception, he and his family started forcing her to convert.
She somehow escaped to Jabalpur and filed a complaint at the Ranji police station. The superintendent of Police has assured that the man would be arrested as soon as possible.
