Two shocking cases of rape have shaken Firozabad district in Uttar Pradesh. In the first incident, a youth shot a video of a married woman taking bath. The accused threatened the victim to upload the video online and sexually abused her since last year. In the second incident, a minor girl was raped while sleeping in her room. The police have filed a complaint against a married couple in this case.

A 32-year-old married lady from the Ramgarh area of Firozabad district has told the police that a youth named Farid hailing from the Kashmir Gate was a tenant at her house last year. One day, he recorded a video of the victim bathing and blackmailed her by threatening to make the video viral. Using this threat he raped her on frequent occasions over the last year.

On the night of April 26 at 8 PM, Farid barged into her house and molested her. Meanwhile, the victim’s husband rushed to the spot and beat up the accused. She lodged a complaint against the accused at Ramgarh Police Station. According to Ramgarh Station Officer Harvender Kumar Mishra, they have initiated a manhunt to find Farid who is currently absconding.

In the Kotwali North Police Station area of Firozabad, a 17-year-old minor girl was raped by a youth named Sonu in connivance with a tenant couple. The victim and her family are tenants at the house of Seema and Harshit. Sonu, a neighbor of the couple used to visit their house frequently. On the night of April 26, the victim was sleeping in her room while her relatives were sleeping on the terrace. Taking advantage of the situation, the accused entered her room and raped her.

During the incident, Seema and Harshit locked her room from the outside. On hearing the victim’s cries, her family members broke open the door while the Sonu fled. The mother of the teenager has lodged a complaint against Sonu, Seema, and her husband Harshit. According to inspector Sanjeev Kumar Dubey of North Kotwali Police, they are searching for the accused. The victim was sent for a medical test.
