Assam: Student murdered inside Madrasa, Police arrested teacher Hafiz Mouksin Rahman Khan

Within 24 hours of a student’s murder inside Madrasa, the Cachar Police has solved the mystery and arrested a teacher of the Madrasa. The arrested has been identified as Hafiz Mouskin Rahman Khan.

Monday morning, the dead body of 12 years old student was found inside Darus Salam Hafiziya and Aliya Madrasa. His throat was slit. Also, marks of brutal torture and beating had been found in the body of the deceased student. The Madrasa is situated at Dholai under Cachar district of Assam. Following this in incident, Cachar SP Numal Mahatta and his team, along with OC of Dholai Police Station launched an investigation.

As per Police, the victim Rojimul Hussain Laskar was a student of the Madrasa. Few days ago, the student suddenly left the hostel without informing the Hafiz. When he returned, angry teacher Hafiz Mouskin Rahman Khan physically tortured the student and also beat him with stick. The teacher also accused the student of stealing of a mobile phone from the Madrasa.

When Rojimul’s parents came to know about this, they complained to the Head Cleric of the Madrasa. Head Cleric of the Madrasa told the teacher to write an apology. This incident angered the accused teacher Hafiz Mouskin Rahman Khan. On Sunday night, when everyone in the Madrasa was sleeping, with a sharp weapon, the teacher slit the throat of the 12 years old student Rojimul Hussain Laskar and fled.
