In their police complaint, the girl’s parents have accused Ashraf. They said on July 30 afternoon, and they were out for work. The accused saw their daughter playing with the neighborhood children. He took the girl inside their house and raped the child.

The complaint alleges that the accused also physically abused and intimidated their daughter. The accused threatened to kill her if she spoke about the incident to anyone. “When my husband and I returned home after some time, my daughter told us about this incident in tears,” the victim’s mother pointed out in her complaint.
