“Karnataka’s cyber crime police have detained a social media user known as @MumbaichaDon (Bhiku Mhatre) for a post he shared on Twitter against the Congress’ manifesto.

The user, identified as Vinit Naik who goes by the name on Bhiku Mhatre (a name inspired by a character from the 1998 movie “Satya”), was apprehended for circulating an edited video of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah discussing reservations, as well as for a tweet criticizing the Congress manifesto.

Bhiku Mhatre had written, “Throw this in face of Every Liberal & Every Piddi who was arguing that CONgress Menifesto doesn’t mention “Mu$£ims” specifically & it includes SC/STs Also. CONgress WANTS TO TAKE AWAY WEALTH FROM HINDUS & DISTRIBUTING TO MU$£IMS “ONLY” AS IT HATES HINDUS INCL. SC/STs.”

“Kyrgyzstan: Violent mobs launch targeted attacks on Pakistani MBBS students in Bishkek; Indian Embassy asks students to stay indoors as violence escalates”, Opindia, May 18, 2024:

“In a series of violent incidents, Foreign students, particularly Pakistani MBBS students and their hostels have come under attack by violent local mobs in Kyrgyzstan’s capital Bishkek on Friday night (17th May). Several X users, who are in the know of the violent attack, have claimed that four Pakistani students have died and several others have suffered serious injuries in these mob attacks. The development has prompted both Indian and Pakistani Embassies to urge their nationals to “stay indoors”. However, they have so far denied reports of “rapes and deaths” of Pakistani students.

According to reports, on 13th May, a fight broke out between Kyrgyz students and medical students from Egypt. It is also being said that some Pakistani students were reportedly involved in that clash, triggering targeted mob violence against Pakistani MBBS students. Several videos of purported Pakistani/foreign students sharing horrific details about the attack are doing rounds on the internet.

According to the victims, the violent mobs have launched systematic attacks on hostels of foreign students and allegedly raped or sexually harassed Pakistani female students. Reportedly, the mobs are attacking hostels one after another and the attacks have continued into Saturday Morning…..”

“Telangana Police arrest Adilabad resident Abdul Ateeq for giving triple talaq to wife Jasmine via WhatsApp”, Opindia, May 19, 2024:

“The Adilabad police have arrested a man for declaring the banned instant ‘triple talaq’ to his wife via WhatsApp message. The accused has been identified as Abdul Ateeq and police have registered a case against him.

According to G Srinivas, Inspector of Women’s Police Station, Adilabad, Ateeq married a girl named Jasmine (28) in 2017.

“They have two daughters. There were some clashes between the wife and husband for two years. In 2023, the wife Jasmine registered a harassment case against her husband Abdul Ateeq. Then she went to Court and filed for maintenance money in the court. The court gave a judgment asking her husband to give 7,200 rupees per month to the wife. However, Abdul Ateeq told Jasmine that he would not give her any money,” the police said…..”

Helicopter carrying Iranian President Raisi suffers ‘hard landing’ in Azerbaijan

 A helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi experienced an incident in the country’s east Azerbaijan on Sunday, local media reported.

Raisi, who is on a one-day trip to neighbouring Azerbaijan, met his Azeri counterpart Ilham Aliyev and the two leaders inaugurated the Qiz Qalasi Dam, which is a joint project of both countries.

Iran’s Tasnim News Agency said that there were three helicopters in the convoy, two of which carrying ministers and officials “arrived at their destination safely”. The agency said that Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian was also reportedly on the helicopter with Raisi.

“However, some of the president’s companions on this helicopter were able to communicate with Central Headquarters, raising hopes that the incident could have ended without casualties,” it said in a post on X.

Without elaborating on the details, Iranian state television also reported that the helicopter carrying the Iranian President suffered a “hard landing”.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Mehr News Agency reported that Raisi has labelled reports of the accident as a “rumour” and said that the President and his convoy were travelling from Khodaafarin to Tabriz by land.

“Mehr reporter’s investigations indicate that a few minutes ago, the helicopter carrying the President landed on the ground due to the foggy weather in the northern region of east Azarbaijan, and now the President’s convoy is on its way to Tabriz,” it said.

Bharatiya stock markets will break all records on June 4: PM Modi

Once the Lok Sabha election results are declared on June 4, the Bharatiya stock markets will break all previous records, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday.

In an exclusive conversation with Sanjay Pugalia, CEO and Editor-in-Chief, AMG Media Network, PM Modi said that the Bharatiya indices are set to witness record highs after the poll results.

“With a week after election results, the Bharatiya stock market will touch record highs and stock market programmers will get tired dealing with the rush,” he said.

The Prime Minister said that Bharatiya should shun their nervousness about investing in the market and join the momentum.

“New investors help grow the economy and people’s risk capacity needs to increase with time. In the last 10 years, the markets have reached the 75,000-level from the 25,000 level,” PM Modi emphasised.

The Prime Minister said that public sector undertakings (PSUs) stocks are now accelerating which no one had expected.

“Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (HAL), the state-owned defence PSU, has made a record net profit of more than Rs 4,000 crore,” PM Modi noted.

The country is now the fifth country in the world with an equity market capitalisation of more than $4.5 trillion, behind the US, China, Japan, and Hong Kong. The BSE Sensex reached an all-time high of 75,124.28 in April. Both the indices traded at record-high levels in the opening trade on April 9, with the Nifty 50 surging above the 22,700 level. Strong domestic macroeconomic fundamentals have pushed the Indian stock market to reach new limits.

“In a shocking incident, a Dalit youth was attacked and assaulted by Islamist miscreants over a love affair with a Muslim girl in Karimnagar, Telangana. As per reports, the Islamist miscreants were led and directed by political leaders from MIM and BRS. 

Notably, the victim boy hails from the Dalit community and is a resident of Warangal district. He fell in love with a Muslim girl who hails from Godavarikhani town in Pedpadalli district. Their relationship has been going on for the last two years.

On 14th May, the Muslim girl told her family members that she was going out to meet her relative in Siddipet, but she went to Basant Nagar. From there, her lover, the Dalit youth picked her up on a bike. Afterwards, they visited his friend’s house in the Raykurti Sheikh Khan Nagar area of Karimnagar 18 Division…..”

“Co-founder and CEO of Naturals, a Spa and Salon chain, CK Kumaravel recently sparked outrage after he made a disparaging post against one of India’s renowned Freedom Fighters Veer Savarkar. He denigrated the Indian Freedom fighter calling him “a coward” and peddled blatant falsehoods and unfound allegations linking him to MK Gandhi’s assassination, a propaganda that has been busted by the judiciary as he was acquitted in the case.   

Notably, on 16th May, CK Kumaravel made disparaging remarks against Veer Savarkar while responding to PM Modi’s open challenge to the I.N.D.I. Alliance parties. While addressing an election rally in Kalyan, Maharashtra, PM Modi challenged the opposition bloc to say 5 sentences about the greatness of Veer Savarkar. An I.N.D.I. Alliance supporter (as per his posts on X timeline) and former executive of Makkal Needhi Maiam, Kumaravel described the Hindutva ideologue as a “maniac”.

In his post on X, he wrote, “1. #VeerSavarkar is a coward. 2. He is a co-conspirator in Gandhi’s assassination. 3. He is an expert in writing #MercyPetitions.  4. He brainwashed the mentally ill #Godse in killing #Gandhi. 5. There is nothing veer in him except his name. 6. A #Hindutva Maniac. #RSS – #BJP mafia……”

“In Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh, 30-40 miscreants have been booked for brutally assaulting a youth from the Dalit community. The accused identified in the FIR include Zeeshan, Naseeb, and Monty Khan, while another 30 to 40 unidentified individuals, who were part of the attacking mob, have also been booked. They are accused of assaulting the victim with an iron pipe while hurling casteist slurs.

The incident took place on Saturday (18th May) when the victim Diwakar Nayak was returning from a BJP bike rally. The Police have arrested 3 accused, while an investigation to identify and arrest the remaining accused is underway. 

According to reports, the incident unfolded in the Barkagaon police station area of Hazaribagh. Diwakar Kumar Nayak, who belongs to the Scheduled Caste community, stated that he was returning after attending the BJP bike rally with 150 of his friends on Saturday. On his way back, he was returning to Gondalpura by bike with his friend Vicky Rana. Meanwhile, his bike was forcibly stopped when they were passing through the Muslim-dominated locality of Badam…..”

Assam: Islamists allegedly gang-raped two minor girls of the Bodo community in Goalpara, murdered a protester; arrested

A youth who sustained injuries during a scuffle related to the disturbing Dudhnoi rape case tragically passed away in a hospital last Friday, on the 17th of May. The incident has fueled a wave of anger and protest in the area.

The deceased has been identified as Hiranmay Khaklari. Hiranmay was a member of the Village Defence Party(VDP).

On the 3rd of May, two minor girls from the Janajatia community were returning from the cultural program of a nearby village. Three Islamists allegedly dragged them and gang-raped them. Later, they left the girls on a road.

Next day, the family of the girls filed complaint in the Dudhnoi Police Station. The police immediately lodged an FIR(No- 35/24) and started the investigation. Although, the accused were absconding.

After receiving the news, on the night of the 5th of May, Hiranmay Khaklari and other members of the VDP reached the house of accused Dhan Talukdar’s house in Sarapara village. There, Dhan Talukdar and his relatives attacked them with sharp weapons. Hiranmay and others were stabbed. Hiranmay was seriously injured.

Meanwhile, Hiranmay was rushed to the local hospital. From there, he was transferred to Guwahati for better treatment.

The alleged gang rape case and death sparked anger among the Bodo community of the Goalpara district. The police also filed another case(FIR No- 39/24) in the murder incident. The Police arrested Shekabar Ali and his wife Parbina Begum.

Also, the Police arrested three Islamists who were accused in ganga rape case. The arrested are identified as Dhan Talukdar, Bahar Ali and Rahman Ali.
