A Biryani seller in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri was held for selling biryani on paper plates with images of Prabhu Sri Ram. According to reports, people created a stir after discovering images of Sri Ram on the plates. The police arrived and brought the situation under control. The incident occurred on Sunday (21 April).
The police stated that images of Sri Ram were found in a few plates of the bundle of paper plates used by the seller. They also confirmed that they are investigating the matter from various angles, including whether the seller did this as a marketing strategy or on purpose to hurt Hindu sentiments. Jahangirpuri Police is investigating the matter.
