“Christian Nationalist Podcaster Joshua Haymes made some extremely shocking claims in a recent video on his YouTube Channel ‘Reformation Red Pill’. He said that the ‘institution of slavery is not inherently evil’. US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth had appeared on a podcast with Haymes in early 2024.

Joshua Haymes further stated, “It is not inherently evil to own another human being.” According to him, every Christian should ‘affirm’ his point of view and it’s ‘very important’ that they do so. Not only that, every Christian should also be able to defend his point of view.

“The Bible does not teach that the institution of slavery is inherently sinful. Therefore, Christians must not say that the institution of slavery is inherently sinful,” the podcaster said. Joshua Haymes, however, said that he believes that the abolition of slavery was a good thing……”
