How the World was Broken between ‘Democracy’ and ‘Human Rights’

Riots suddenly emerge out of nowhere. Violence starts claiming its victims and unrest disrupts lives.

All in the name of ‘improving the society’.

Those who break down societies in the name of improving it are sneaking in the shadows waiting for their chances and means to control us.

And we, like fools, allow them their ungodly profits and loot. In the name of uplifting our sorry state, of course.

Our strange guilt born out of a manufactured sense of inferiority is their most powerful weapon.

If we feel complete. If we feel empowered. If we feel content within ourselves no matter the situation. They have nothing to hoist on us.

Democracy and Human Rights are two such Weapons of Mass Subversion.

The Curious Sector

There is one sector in the economy that no one talks about.

The Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) sector.

These organizations have been the tools of development but more importantly, of subversion.

The Intelligence organizations knew very early that seemingly altruistic-sounding organizations with benign veneers could be the ideal way to orchestrate the subversion of any society.

The Cold War scenario provided the ideal cover.

How Democracy Promotion Became a Subversion Tool

On June 8, 1982, US President Ronald Reagan gave a speech that is known as “The Westminster Address“. It was a call to establish democracy around the world as a competing idea for the Soviet-led Communist ideology. There Reagan clearly laid out how democracy promotion would be a key strategic tool to fight Soviet-led Communist structure. Interestingly, at that very nascent stage itself, he (and the architects) had the inherent guilt that this entire operation was an instrument of “cultural imperialism”, which it essentially was.

This speech then became the basis for the creation of the National Endowment of Democracy (NED) one year later. An organization that funds “Democracy Promotion” programs around the world.

“Forty years ago, President Ronald Reagan challenged the free world to ‘foster the infrastructure of democracy.’ He argued that support for freedom in other countries was not cultural imperialism, and that it was in fact cultural condescension to believe people anywhere prefer dictatorship to democracy. With the Westminster speech, he inspired the creation of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) and its four core institutes, including IRI, one year later. (Source: IRI Statement on 40th Anniversary of Westminster Speech / International Republican Institute)

Behind the veneer of the altruism of “Democracy Promotion” was the need to hide the subversive activities of the CIA and give them a legitimate facade. NED was the means for achieving that.

“A lot of what we do today was done covertly 25 years ago by the CIA.” – Allan Weinstein, Founder of National Endowment for Democracy

NED was not working alone. It was working with other operatives. George Soros was one of them.

So, we know that the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) is an American covert intelligence operative agency that uses “Democracy Promotion” as a tool for subversion. But it is not alone.

Other Western organizations in the West have similar goals and modus operandi. For example the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD).

The Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) also ostensibly “promotes democratic practices and institutions in developing democracies“. In collaboration with partner organizations, it enhances the institutions of democracy, primarily focusing on political parties, parliaments, and civil society institutions.

The Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) has been a close partner of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED) since 1992, when it was founded.

And so it’s a great pleasure for me to address this forum of the Westminster Foundation for Democracy and the Henry Jackson SocietyThe Westminster Foundation has been the NED’s partner in the United Kingdom since it was founded in 1992 and we organized a forum where its representatives were able to explain the new organization to a Washington audience. The pretext of “reforming the civil society” has proliferated numerous organizations, groups, and initiatives within the West. Actions, which are calibrated to subvert the governments that the Western intelligence agencies do not approve of. All the grants, money, and awards are geared towards that goal.

With so many Western countries pouring money into the NGO sector. And not just one-time funds, recurring and growing amounts of money. The NGO Sector funding is $305 Billion this year from the major large donors. This amount will keep increasing at a healthy rate of close to 5% every year irrespective of the state of the global economy.

And, India is no stranger to the inflow of these funds coming in for various “civil rights and democracy promotion” activities.

Infiltrating India and National Security Implications

In fact, in 2010-11, the amount received from outside India was to the tune of USD 2 Billion! 33% of this money came from just the United States alone!

For the financial year 2010-11, available data show that about 22,000 NGOs received a total of more than $2 billion from abroad, of which $650 million came from the US. (Source: India witnessing NGO boom, there is 1 for every 600 people / Times of India)

By some estimates, there was One NGO per every 600 people in India ( India witnessing NGO boom, there is 1 for every 600 people / Times of India), but the figure could be even higher – close to One NGO for every 400 people living in India!

The NGO sector in India has grown rapidly in response to national politics and concerns about poverty and marginalization. In 2009, the Central Statistical Institute of India reported 3.3 million registered NGOs in the country, or one NGO for every 400 citizens. In 2020, GuideStar India (GSI) had more than 10,000 verified NGOs and more than 1,600 certified NGOs on its portal. (Source: International Center for Not-for-Profit Law)

In contrast, as per the Union Home Ministry official statistics in 2010-11, India had just One Policeman per 943 people in the country!

💡

There are more NGOs per person in India than policemen!

Why is this important?

Because of the NGOs’ ability to collect deep and sensitive information, it could severely impact national security. For example, the Joshua Project by the evangelists collects information about different slices of India’s population that could be used to fuel widespread rioting and unrest, if the data is used in subversive activities.

What has been happening for a long time and what can happen in the near future should be gauged from what happened in Ukraine.

How Ukraine Was Broken by Democracy Enthusiasts

In Ukraine for example, the route for infiltration by NATO was the NGOs.

Source: Civil Society in Ukraine’s Restoration

You see, George Soros had set up shop in Ukraine in 1990 itself. Even before the Soviet Union had broken.I established the Renaissance Foundation in Ukraine in 1990 – before the country achieved independence. The foundation did not participate in the recent uprising, but it did serve as a defender of those targeted by official repression. The foundation is now ready to support Ukrainians’ strongly felt desire to establish resilient democratic institutions (above all, an independent and professional judiciary). (Source: GeorgeSoros.com)

What transpired in the Ukrainian economy was unprecedented. The economy basically collapsed.

And so, the economy collapsed soon after independence. Gross domestic product plunged by over 60% in the early 1990s, and inflation skyrocketed to more than 10,000%. For ordinary Ukrainians, this collapse meant massive poverty and hardship: Approximately 50% of households lived on less than $5.50 per day, and life expectancy declined by five years. (Source: Ukraine’s economy went from Soviet chaos to oligarch domination to vital global trader of wheat and neon – and now Russian devastation / The Conversation)

Soros’ influence and activities in Ukraine were brought out in 2016 via a massive 2500 leaked tranche of documents by the website called DCLeaks. George Soros and the executives of his NGOs had meetings with many actors of the political subversive activities happening in Ukraine.

In a document titled, “Breakfast with US Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt”, details of the meeting that George Soros had on March 31, 2014, regarding Ukraine’s future with Geoffrey Pyatt (US Ambassador to Ukraine); David Meale (Economic Counsellor to the Ambassador); Lenny Benardo (OSF); Yevhen Bystrytsky (Executive Director, IRF); Oleksandr Sushko (Board Chair, IRF); Ivan Krastev (Chairman, Centre for Liberal Studies); Sabine Freizer (OSF); Deff Barton (Director, USAID, Ukraine) were shared.

The US Ambassador Pyatt shares the need to have a PR campaign against Putin and Russia. A project that Soros agrees with.

The details of the discussions are in the document below.

Basically, the US Ambassador hands over the reins of the Ukrainian situation in George Soros’ hands – “What should the US Government do?”. Soros then gives directions on how the US should impose sanctions and work with the EU to ensure Putin recognizes the results of the Presidential elections. Elections, that were rigged for the most part.

That is why, when tired of the US machinations in Ukraine, Putin finally attacked Ukraine – as he explained – Soros was his usual belligerent self as he issues a dire warning of an impending World War that would “spell the end of civilization”.

But you see how all this works?

  1. Use of NGOs and funding to deeply infiltrate a society
  2. NGOs subvert society in the name of fancy ideals like Democracy and Justice
  3. Detailed social and population maps and statistics that have been gathered over the years are provided to the targeted groups for seeding unrest
  4. Any pushback is countered via Western sanctions
  5. If there is any military or law enforcement challenge, that gets hauled up with existential threats.

This fight is not just being fought by the Western intelligence and state actors but the Islamists and Jihadis have also been added to the mix.

How Islamists Run the Global Human Rights Agenda

Gita Sahgal is Jawaharlal Nehru’s niece, and aunt of the current Congress scion, Rahul Gandhi.

In 2010, she was fired by Amnesty International from her post as the head of the Gender Unit.

Sahgal, who has researched religious fundamentalism for 20 years, has decided to go public because she feels Amnesty has ignored her warnings for the past two years about the involvement of Begg in the charity’s Counter Terror With Justice campaign. “I believe the campaign fundamentally damages Amnesty International’s integrity and, more importantly, constitutes a threat to human rights,” Sahgal wrote in an email to the organisation’s leaders on January 30. “To be appearing on platforms with Britain’s most famous supporter of the Taliban, whom we treat as a human rights defender, is a gross error of judgment.” (Source: “Amnesty International is ‘damaged’ by Taliban link” / The Times)

Partnering with Taliban supporter and treat him as a “human rights defender” is a gross error of judgment she said. Sahgal, also wrote a detailed article on May 13, 2020 which is worth reading.

One part of it stands out though.

On Friday, April 9, 2010, Amnesty International announced my departure from the organization. The agreed statement said, “Due to irreconcilable differences of view over policy between Gita Sahgal and Amnesty International regarding Amnesty International’s relationship with Moazzam Begg and Cageprisoners, it has been agreed that Gita will leave Amnesty International.” (Source: A Statement By Gita Sahgal On Leaving Amnesty International / New York Review)

Just think for a moment what Amnesty International’s decision really said.

Stuck between Moazzam Beg and Cageprisoners (a UK-based “human rights” group) and Gita Sahgal, Amnesty International made its moral choice very clear. It was a Guantanamo Bay detainee and Cageprisoners – both of whom had a long-standing relationship with AL Qaeda cleric Anwar al Awlaki.

But it was the reason that irked Sahgal to confront Amnesty’s leadership that should shock us most.

Violent Jihad is a Human Right and Outsourcing Amnesty’s Narrative!

One of the most astonishing parts of Sahgal’s statement was Amnesty International’s stance on violent Jihad and its relationship with Human Rights.

💬

idea of jihad in self-defense is not antithetical to human rights; and have explained that they meant only the specific form of violent jihad that Moazzam Begg and others in Cageprisoners assert is the individual obligation of every Muslim

The specific form of Jihad that Moazzam Begg and Cageprisoners profess is the individual obligation of every Muslim, and is covered by Human Rights!

This interview from Gita Sahgal is very instructive and disturbing!

She clearly states that it wasn’t just Amnesty International that was involved in supporting the violent jihad under the guise of human rights ideology. Other organizations, such as Liberty and Human Rights Watch, were also complicit! In fact, the research that these supposed Human Rights organizations claim as their own was actually authored by Moazzam Beg and Cageprisoners. Furthermore, it is worth noting that in many instances, the research was a collaborative effort!

Basically, Amnesty’s narratives had been outsourced to the Jihadis

Whether Begg had actually done or directly supported acts of violence or not – notwithstanding his multiple arrests by Western agencies for terror-related activities – the fact that his sympathies and arguments were aligned with the Islamist terror organizations was unmistakable.

To outsource the Human Rights agenda globally to these kinds of groups was a clear subversion of societies across the world because the reports and utterances of these global human rights organizations become the basis for actions and worse, sanctions against those countries!

And Gita Sahgal was not an isolated incident within Amnesty of conscience pinching its top most officials.

Amnesty’s Asia-Pacific director Sam Zarifi also came out in 2010 saying the same thing.

Zarifi’s take was clear – Amnesty did not differentiate between the human rights of Jihadi terrorists and the validity of their views.

And, that is an important distinction that has been lost in the world of human rights organizations.

Amnesty’s Asia-Pacific director Sam Zarifi echoed concerns raised by former colleague Gita Sahgal that Amnesty was risking its reputation by making common cause with Cageprisoners, formed by Moazzam Begg, a former Guantanamo Bay prisoner, to highlight the plight of terror suspects in American custody. Ms. Sahgal was suspended as head of Amnesty’s gender unit after she went public with her disquiet over its backing for Mr. Begg, whom she described as Britain’s “most famous supporter of Taliban.” Mr. Zarifi was reported as saying in an internal memo that Amnesty had failed to distinguish between the rights of Guantanamo Bay prisoners and the validity of Mr. Begg’s jihadi leanings. “We should be clear that some of Amnesty’s campaigning…did not always sufficiently distinguish between the rights of detainees to be free from torture and the validity of their views….We did not always clarify that while we champion the rights of all — including terrorism suspects, and more important, victims of terrorism — we do not champion their views,” he said in “leaked” memo extracts which were published by The Sunday Times. Prominent figures in Cageprisoners have been accused of links with extremist preachers such as Anwar-al Awlaki, a Yemeni scholar who is said to have “inspired” a number of alleged terrorists. One leading Cageprisoners activist Asim Qureshi publicly acknowledged his support for Hizb-ut-Tahrir, an extremist group, in a BBC interview. (Source: Another Amnesty official questions its links with jihadi group / The Hindu)

So you see how the world of human rights is basically a cover for the furtherance of Islamist Jihadi terror.

Between the “Democracy” of Western Intelligence and the “Human Rights” of the Jihadis

That is where the global societies find themselves today.

Subversion is the only reality that is openly orchestrated by Western Intelligence organizations on the one hand, and the Islamist Jihadis on the other.

While the West usurped the Democracy platform, the Islamists captured the Human Rights platform.

We have to understand that Jesus was just a tool for power. The entire industry of savior-ship and righteousness that came about was a way to get power. The human cost, suffering, deaths, and hurt did not matter. Wealth and power at all costs did.

We have called it the “Righteousness Framework of Power”.

So today the powers that intend to control all of us have hoisted two Jesuses on us all:

  1. Democracy
  2. Human Rights

With these two so-called ideals, they are continuing to attack every society that stands in the way of unbridled power.
