Bangladesh: The Police arrests 10 Islamists for the murder of Hindu man and his wife in Chandpur

After 16 days, the Police arrested 10 Islamists for the murder of Hindu man and his wife in Chandpur. Among the arrested, Sohag Munsi and Mizan were the main conspirator behind the crime. They, along with others planned to grab the property, informed the Police. Also, the arrested confessed their crimes.

During the Press briefing, Superintendent of Police, Chandpur, said, “The couple identified some of the culprits. So, they were killed. We have arrested 10 people so far.” 

Notably, in the morning of 8th of September, dead bodies of a Hindu couple were found in Hajipur of Chandpur district. The deceased were identified as Uttam Barman(68) and Kajoli Rani Barman(55). 

Uttam Barman worked as a caretaker and used to live in the mansion of a wealthy Hindu man named Dulal Saha. Dulal Saha lives in Narayanganj town with his family. His wife also lived with him in the house.
