Bangladesh: Islamists attacked Hindu temple in Narayanganj, Murti vandalised

Attacks on Hindu temples never stops in Muslim majority Bangladesh. This time, news of an attack on the temple is coming in from Sonrgaon under Narayanganj district of Bangladesh. Islamists Sabbir Mullick and others attacked a Shiva and Maa Kali temple.

As per the received information, Gobinda chandra das is a resident of Alapadi village under the Sonargaon Police Station of Narayanganj district. He has a temple in front of his home, in which Bhagwan Shiva and Maa Kali are being worshipped. Yesterday, on 15th of September, at noon, after Friday Namaz, Sabbir Mullick and a few other Islamists came to his house. Suddenly they entered his family temple.

As per the complaint filed in the Sonargaon Police Station, Islamists first uprooted the iron-made Trishul. Then, with that Trishul, they repeatedly hit the Shiva and Kali idols inside the temple. They tried to break the heads of both the idols. But, as the idols were made of concrete, they could not succeed. But, due to the repeated attacks, the Shiva idol has been partially damaged.

Gobinda Chandra Das said, “When they attacked the temple, I shouted for help. Neighbours rushed, but the Islamists fled. I have filed a written complaint in the Sonargaon Police Station.”

The Police launched an investigation. Till now, no one has been arrested so far.

  1. What do these stupid Islamic Jihadists think that by desecrating & vandalizing a Hindu temple it will glorify Islam?
Never. Rather they bring disgrace to world’s one of the largest religion which in true sense is non-violent!
