Hindu persecution continues in Muslim-majority Bangladesh. This time, Islamists attacked a Hindu minority family in the Jhalkathi district of Bangladesh.

The Islamists attacked the temple of Maa Manasa. They broke three Murtis inside the temple and threw them outside. Besides, other things used in worship are also vandalised. Then they left the area.

Notably, the victim family of Dhiren Pal lives at Charkutubnagar village under Jhalkathi Sadar Upazila of Jhalkathi district.

As the news of the attack spread, leaders of the Hindu minority community with the Police reached the village. They inspected the place. A complaint also has been filed. The Police already started the investigation.

Officer-in-charge of the Jhalkathi Police Station, Naser Uddin Sarker, said, “We have received the complaint. We are trying to identify the accused. After which, I promise, all perpetrators will be arrested.”
