Local Hindus rushed to the spot and caught the youth redhanded. Local Hindus informed the police and he was handed over for legal action.
Local Hindus said, “The boy is lungi clad and definitely a Muslim. Because, when he was breaking the Murtis of the temple, he was shouting ‘Allahu Akbar’ several times. We demanded strong legal action to be taken against the youth.”
Hindus are under constant existential threat from the Jihadists in Bangladesh. We expect that Muslims, who are the majority there, should protetct their minority brethren– the Hindus. But instead, we observe a regular display of violence (in the form of kidnapping, rape, murder, and desecration of Hindu deities and temples) perpetrated by the Bangladeshi Muslims on the Hindus. Surprisingly, no other Islamic state say Saudi Arabia, UAE, Iran, Turkey, Malaysia, or Indonesia decry these atrocities, not to speak of taking any action, generating International pressure to throttle such violence. Where is the Human Rights Commission that never hesitate to raise the voice of protest if a Kashmiri Muslim dies in cross-fire between the extremists and Indian Army?
