Amy Wax attacks Indian immigrants, calls India a ‘shithole’

Penn University Law Professor Amy Wax displayed her hatred for Bharat by attacking Indian immigrants in the United States and referring to India as a ‘shithole’. The white supremacist attitude is clear in the manner in which she speaks on the Tucker Carlson Today show.

She made reference to providing Indian women ‘opportunity’ to work and rise up the ladder in the US and the same women then ‘criticized’ the American system and opined that it needed to be reformed. Wax says “they are taught they are Brahmin elites, at some level their country is a shithole and it isn’t providing them with the opportunity”.

Wax then goes on to add that America has outdone and outclassed Bharat in creating medical facilities and systems. She also insinuated that immigrants were envious of the US and felt a sense of shame with regard to Bharat. “It is the ingratitude of the monstrous kind”, Wax says adding that she would want to ask the immigrants why they left their country. Even the host agreed with her which shows the kind of supremacist attitudes

This is nothing but Hinduphobia and racism cloaked as American nationalism, pride in being an American, and such other things that both Wax and the host were attempting to imply. Suhag Shukla called Wax a ‘provocateur’ who is known to pour her inflammatory remarks on race and immigration.

Shukla also highlighted that the Penn University Professor was actually displaying her lack of knowledge with respect to the Indian-American community. “She assumes that all of us came here from India but many of us were born and raised here. The United States is our home and we won’t go back because we belong here”.

Shukla also emphasized the fact that as American citizens they were well within their rights to criticize government policies regardless of their political affiliations and inclinations. She drew comparisons between Wax and Trushcke to drive home her point that all of them were demonizing and delegitimizing Indian-Americans and Hindu Americans and casting aspersions on their loyalty.

Wax is a repeat offender who had earlier a similar open when she said that she wants fewer Asians to be allowed into the US. “If you go into medical schools, you’ll see that Indians, South Asians are now rising stars. In medicine, they’re sort of the new Jews, I guess, but this diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives are poisoning the scientific establishment and the medical establishment now”, she had opined.

Such racist views on Indian and other Asian immigrants are also shared by some on the other end of the American ideological spectrum. Silicon Valley entrepreneur Melinda Byerley, an advocate of ‘diversity in tech’ and likely Democrat supporter, had gone on an anti-immigrant rant on Twitter last November, calling immigrants like Vinod Khosla who succeeded in Silicon Valley as ‘parasites’ and asking them to “just take their money and go (leave the US). stop trying to turn the US into the caste system/apartheid system you came from.”
