Terrorists hurl grenade, injure 3 laborers repairing school: Shopian, Kashmir

Three labourers were injured in a grenade attack by terrorists in J&K’s Shopian district on Friday, police said.

Police sources said that terrorists hurled a grenade at the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Shopian where the migrant labourers were engaged for some repair work.

“Three labourers were injured in this explosion. They have been shifted to hospital for treatment,” a source said. Further details are awaited.

The attack comes just a day after a migrant worker was killed and another injured after terrorists opened fire on brick kiln laborers in Chadoora area of Budgam district.

In May, a grenade attack in Baramulla district at a newly owned wine shop by a terrorist dressed in a burqa had claimed the wife of Ranjit Singh, and left 3 men injured – Govinder Singh, Ravi Kumar and Govind Singh.

  1. Kashmiri Muslims will never allow any non-Muslims to stay & work in J & K. This requires drastic and draconian measures from Indian Govt. flouting international uproar from Muslim countries.
