Pinaki Bhattacharya behind threat mails to Delhi hospitals and schools

On May 12, 2024, the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI) along with at least right hospitals in Delhi received a series of bomb threats, while earlier this month, more than 150 educational institutions received similar threat mails where the sender threatened to blow-up the targeted places. The incident triggered mass evacuations of schools and panic among parents, even as Delhi Police officers and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) teams rushed to the spots. After a thorough check, it was declared a hoax. Although intelligence agencies in India have started investigating the root of these threat emails, they still are unsure of the individual or group which are behind such terrorist acts.

According to media reports, in addition to schools in Delhi, few more schools in Gautam Buddha Nagar – also known as Noida, Gurugram and Gujrat also received similar threat mails.

Manoj Meena, Deputy Commissioner of Police told reporters, “A hospital in North Delhi’s Burari received an email with a bomb threat. Bomb disposal teams are at the spot. Nothing suspicious has been found”.

Dr. Ashish Goyal of Burari Hospital, which also received threat email said,

“I have access to the hospital email on my phone. The email said a bomb has been placed in the hospital. I informed the police as soon as I saw it and it appears to be a hoax. Police is investigating the matter”.

Meanwhile, according to series of media reports and solid evidences, sitting in France, an individual named Pinaki Bhattacharya has been running dreadful propaganda targeting Bharat, Hindus, leaders of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) including Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well as Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), while he has been giving instigation to over 1.6 million subscribers of his YouTube channel to wage jihad against Bharat and Hindus.

Pinaki Bhattacharya terms Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh as a “terrorist organization” and members of this organization as “terrorists”.

On November 26, 2022, Pinaki Bhattacharya in a Facebook post wrote, “Jihad is the only way [to] eliminate Israel from the map of the world. All my fans and followers should join the cause”. It may be mentioned here that, Pinaki Bhattacharya has been openly expressing support towards mega-terror outfit Hamas while he also has been cheering the October 7 Hamas pogrom in Israel, which killed 1,200 innocent people. Pinaki also has been expressing delight at Hamas’ taking dozens of Israeli and foreign nationals hostage.

Pinaki Bhattacharya, a man who left Hindu dharma and embraced Islam – being influenced by Tablighi Jamaat – fled Bangladesh when law enforcement agencies began investigation into allegations of producing counterfeit medicines, including Chinese sex tablets and Yaba, a drug containing a mixture of methamphetamine and caffeine – sought asylum in France and began vile propaganda against Hindus and Bharat through YouTube channel and social media platforms.

His activities are patronized and funded by Jamaat-e-Islami as well as Al Qaeda-connected ultra-Islamist Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP). In the recent weeks, Pinaki began massive propaganda in favor of the ‘India Out’ movement and has been giving anti-Hindu and anti-Bharat instigation to the viewers of his YouTube channel as well as followers on his social media accounts.

He also runs propaganda against the United States, Israel, Britain, European Union and secularist forces. Pinaki Bhattachraya has also been supportive of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir as well as other parts of Bharat. He has been one of the defenders of the Afghan Taliban.

In one of his recent videos, which drew almost one million views Pinaki prominently promoted a video from a Pakistani YouTube channel called ‘The Blank Page Official’, which claimed that “India has activated powerful assets to counter Bangladesh’s India Out campaign”.

According to reports from Bharatiya media outlets, Pinaki Bhattacharya is described as an extremist who holds anti-Hindu and anti-Bharat sentiments. He frequently publishes content that defames Hindu dharma and goes to the extent of derogatorily labeling every Hindu as “bastards”. Similarly, he targets Bangladeshi citizens and media outlets that oppose the “India Out” activities.

According to a Bharatiya website, a self-proclaimed activist Pinaki Bhattacharya is anti-Hindu and anti-India extremist. He has been regularly publishing contents defaming Hindu religion.

It said, Pinaki became popular amongst radical Muslims and anti-India and anti-Hindu bloc in Bangladesh for his jihadist and anti-India publications. He persuaded Bangladeshi Muslims to wage jihad against the Hindus and join jihadist forces in Jammu and Kashmir in Bharat.

It may be mentioned here that, Pinaki Bhattacharya maintains a regiment of few hundred “fans” on social media platforms – including Meta and Twitter, who are tasked to attack most of the anti-jihadist accounts, while they also are openly spreading hatred against Bharat, Hindus, Jews and Israel.

It is highly-anticipated that Pinaki Bhattacharya and his gang are behind the recent threat emails sent to hospitals, schools and key-point-installations in the country. As Pinaki is using French soil in continuing such criminal acts, authorities concerned need to immediately initiate investigation into the matter and extradite him to Bangladesh, where he is wanted by policy on numerous charges.
