Kerala CPM leader MA Baby terms Israel a terrorist country

MA Baby, a member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPM Polit Bureau from Kerala, has sided with Palestine and referred to Israel as “a terrorist country.” He said that Israel’s earlier actions had prompted the Hamas attack.

“If you call Hamas a terrorist group, you must admit that Israel is also a terrorist state. He added that Eastern Jerusalem should be designated as Palestine’s capital immediately. These were Baby’s words to reporters on Sunday in New Delhi, even as Islamist terrorists were mass raping innocent minors in Israel.

An unfortunate bloodbath is taking place in Palestine. Hamas launched a counterattack, shocking the Israeli rulers. In my opinion, Hamas launched a counteroffensive, said the communist leader.

Baby stated that it is essential to remember that 248 Palestinians have been killed so far this year, 40 of them were youngsters. He admitted that casualties have occurred on both sides, even in Israel. There has been ongoing tension between the two for the past few years.

The CPM is a party that disagrees with many of the terrorist positions of Hamas. However, the Zionist actions forced Hamas to launch a counterattack of this kind. Zionists are killing one Palestinian a day on average – Baby said.

This is a significant failure of the Mossad, hailed as the world’s most sophisticated defense spy agency. The bloodshed of the Hamas counterattack is unacceptable. But one thing that the media, especially the print media, miss when they say that Hamas is a terrorist organization. Baby alleged that Israel, under the leadership of Benjamin Netanyahu, is a terrorist regime.

The Marxist leader even had a resolution to the current stalemate. “The UN Security Council should convene right away to resolve the issue. The UN should recognize Palestine as a sovereign state. The Marxist proclaimed it was the only way to end the area’s bloodshed. (Unlike local Islamists who supported Bharat’s partition, the Palestinians do not favor a two-nation theory.)

Bharat stands in total solidarity with Israel, said PM Narendra Modi. Baby stated on Sunday that the government of Bharat should not have taken a unilateral stance on the conflict between Israel and Palestine. The current stand taken by Narendra Modi is regrettable.

Baby reminded us that Karamchand Gandhi, Nehru, and all the rulers of independent Bharat had accepted Palestine. He alleged PM Modi’s decision was against Bharat’s interests, political justice, and world peace. Incidentally, the Hamas terror attack began at a music festival promoting peace.

According to Baby, Palestinians are struggling for their freedom from Israeli control of their country. Bharat has consistently supported Palestine’s right to self-determination, he claimed. Bharat and Israel did not even have diplomatic ties up until recently.

Bharat had diplomatically kept its distance from Israel, just as it did with South Africa during the Apartheid era. All those great traditions have been abandoned under the leadership of the RSS-controlled Narendra Modi, according to Baby. He claimed that Bharat is a longstanding ally of the Palestinians.

Bharat’s liberation struggle served as the foundation for its foreign policy. The anti-imperialist and non-alignment principles form the basis of the policy. This idea is also reflected in the country’s Constitution, according to Baby. Bharat’s strategic interests would be compromised by becoming a foot soldier in the American camp, added the alleged Chinese asset in Bharat.

Baby is a former education minister. One must remember that even during the Western sanctions against Bharat during the 1971 and 1999 wars against terror state Pakistan, Israel supported our country.

Baby predicted that Israel may win the conflict with the backing of the United States, thereby seriously harming Gaza. The US, France, England, and Germany have supported Israel against Palestine and other key Western nations. In a unipolar world, he claimed, the Western countries have been acting in their self-interests since the fall of the Soviet Union.

It is astounding that Baby is ignoring that Hamas is one of the most prominent terrorist groups in the world, a fact that is generally acknowledged. Why did the communist leader try to defend Hamas’ murder of Israeli civilians?

Baby further argued that the Al-Aqsa mosque is the third holiest site for Muslims and that Hamas retaliated because Israelis broke into the mosque to worship there. Why did he ignore that the location is also sacred to Jews?

Many Malayalis pointed out that with leaders like Baby, do we need external enemies? Others called his ‘Save Gaza’ comments vote bank Abrahamic appeasement ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. (Hamas terrorists ensured that Christians and their places of worship remained untouched by the violence.) Some are reminded that thousands of Keralites work in Israel, and such statements do not auger well for those expatriates.

With an Israeli counter-attack underway, many believe Palestine and its cronies will now claim victimhood. Experts predict that enough radical elements have reached Europe, and these young, undocumented Islamists will create havoc in the days to come.
