Big win over Khalistani Terrorists – A referendum planned in a school in Surrey, Canada got cancelled

In a big win over the Khalistani terrorists in Canada, a proposed Khalistan referendum event scheduled to take place at a Surrey school on September 10 has been officially canceled. It has been learnt that the board of trustees at Tamanwis Secondary School revoked permission for the event following concerns raised by 40 societies with both the City of Surrey and the Provincial Government.

Ritinder Matthew, the Surrey school board’s associate director, communication, said, “Earlier today, our district cancelled a community rental of one of our schools due to a violation of our rental agreement. Promotional materials for the event featured images of our school, alongside images of a weapon. Despite repeated attempts to address the issue, the event organisers failed to remove these concerning images, and materials continued to be posted throughout Surrey and on social media.”

Before that, multiple local communities initiated an aggressive campaign against the event after organizers associated with Sikhs For Justice led by Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, displayed posters of Talwinder Singh Parmar, the mastermind of the 1985 Air India Flight 182 bombing, and weapons throughout the city.

In a show of unprecedented unity, multiple local communities shared their concern and raised questions over the Surrey School Board, the City of Surrey, and the Provincial Government of  British Columbia and asked them the reason for allowing a “ Khalistan Referendum “ in the Tamanawis Secondary School in Surrey.

Such a referendum is deeply problematic on many accounts:

1. The Khalistani elements were planning to use a government school for conducting a referendum to break India, and they were inviting the elements that are accused of conducting terrorist activities in India. This makes Canada the first country in the world where government infrastructure is being used openly with the School Board’s, City’s, and Provincial Government’s backing to attack the unity and integrity of India.

2. The September 10, Referendum by SFJ is dedicated to Talwinder Singh Parmar, who is responsible for killing more than 300 Canadians in the worst terrorist attack in Canadian history. Talwinder’s posters will be pasted all around the school premises. The Surrey School Board, the City of Surrey, and the Provincial Government of BC should face the families of the Air India Victims, who have not found any closure, and answer why are they promoting a known terrorist on the school premises and what effect will this have on young kids.

3. This poster shows a picture of Tamanawis School along with an AK 47, what kind of message this is giving to young children? The School Board, the City of Surrey, and the Provincial Government of BC are answerable to the parents for this daylight promotion of gun violence.

4. The Surrey School Board, the City of Surrey, and the Provincial Government of BC have turned a blind eye towards hate crimes and violence that is being promoted in the name of this Referendum, just for the sake of some votes.

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Canada strongly denounces upcoming Khalistan referendum in Surrey

Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Canada strongly condemns such hateful events being planned and that also at a public school with no action from City or Provincial governments. This event is a cause of concern for all Canadians as extremist / sessionist organizations are openly advocating for violence and breaking up of another democratic country (world’s largest democracy) as well as inciting religious hate against the Hindu community, and that too from a public school.

Such a secessionist referendum is being planned at a time when hateful crimes / graffiti attacks have increased at Hindu temples across Canada (Ram Mandir, Gauri Shankar Mandir, BAPS Temple in Ontario; Laxmi Narayan Mandir and Swami Narayan Mandir in British Columbia).

Hindu community across the globe is a peace loving, progressive and inclusive community which believes in the values of “Vasudevam Kutumbukam” (meaning the world is one family). Such hate crimes by divisive anti social extremist groups against the Indian and Hindu communities threaten to disrupt peace within the peaceful Canadian society.
