Unveiling the Shree Ram Medical Campus in Ayodhya

Introduction

Bharat (India) boasts a treasure trove of ancient medical knowledge, with insights into the human body, dietary habits, and herbal remedies dating back thousands of years. Our ancestors were pioneers in healthcare long before the Western world caught on. However, most research has centered on Allopathy, leaving other medical systems like Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Naturopathy in the shadows. Restoring this balance is crucial to encourage research and development in these disciplines. Imagine a hospital where all these branches coexist under one roof, coupled with state-of-the-art equipment and cutting-edge interdisciplinary research in collaboration with global universities, providing a gift to both patients and our rich heritage.

Awanish Singh’s Vision

Enter Awanish Singh, an author of a book on National Education Policy, MLC of Uttar Pradesh, and educationist, poised to redefine Ayodhya’s landscape with a visionary project – the Shree Ram Medical Campus. Situated opposite the court-allocated relocated Babri Mosque site, this unique healthcare institution dedicated to Bhagwan Ram promises holistic and affordable treatment. It will offer an array of medical disciplines, including Allopathy, Ayurveda, Siddhi, Homeopathy, and advanced technologies like Stem Cell therapy. Beyond healthcare, it will house a cutting-edge research center, connected with global specialists and universities worldwide. This research-driven institution will thrive on interdisciplinary studies in areas such as stem cell research, genetics, nanotechnology, biomedical equipment, and Artificial Intelligence, all aimed at enhancing the quality of treatment and services using holistic modern and ancient tools.

Honoring Medical Legends

The Shree Ram Medical Campus in Ayodhya seeks to educate the public about our ancient medical legends of Bharat, such as Sushrut, Naagarjun, Charak, and Vaagbhatt. This campus will serve as a tribute to Bharat’s rich heritage. Students at the Shree Ram Medical Campus will delve into the Vedas and their practical applications, enriching their medical education. The power of mantras, sound, and frequencies in healing will also be explored, elevating both patient morale and contributing to global research and publications in peer-reviewed medical journals. This will be done in collaboration with local and global universities.

Revolutionizing Patient Care

Patient care at this medical campus will set new global standards. Each patient will undergo thorough evaluation based on consistent parameters, monitored using state-of-the-art equipment. The meticulous recording of every detail and the integration of artificial intelligence for data processing and research will yield groundbreaking findings. Furthermore, the emphasis on treating every patient with dignity and providing unwavering medical support, regardless of their financial status, and restoring the sense of service that is at the core of our beliefs in service towards humanity. Remote healthcare through telemedicine and home-treatment is also being envisaged which will help to take this service at everyone’s doorstep including remote parts of Bharat.

The Ayodhya Advantage

But why Ayodhya? Ayodhya emerges as the perfect location for this visionary medical campus as it is poised to become a premier tourist destination. With the completion of the Sri Ram temple and the anticipated influx of domestic and international tourists, Ayodhya offers a unique advantage over other pilgrimage sites. This facility, uniting spirituality and healthcare, will undoubtedly be a blessing for the wellness and recovery of pilgrims. The Shree Ram Medical Campus envisions a 1000-bed healthcare facility where various medical systems are practiced simultaneously. The project, estimated at approximately 455 crores (excluding land costs), will be funded through a trust. Founding trustees will oversee the operation of the medical campus, while additional capital will be sourced through avenues such as crowdfunding, VC funding, and IPOs.

Conclusion

In Ayodhya, the Shree Ram Medical Campus embodies a noble vision to bridge healthcare gaps and promote holistic well-being rooted in our glorious Vedic traditions. The project aims to implement the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – the whole world is one family, in spirit and practice, through affordable holistic care, incorporating the latest technologies but done through a sense of service under the guidance of Bhagwan Ram. This project seamlessly blends ancient wisdom with modern medical advancements, potentially transforming Ayodhya into a global healthcare destination while preserving Bharat’s invaluable heritage in the field of medicine.
