Toolkit for Hindus

It’s late, and I have been thinking. To whoever is reading this, please bear with me.

1. Emmanuel Macron and Poland’s actions make much more sense now. We need to address radical Islam in our country as soon as possible. Incidents worse than Charlie Hebdo have happened in Bharat.

2. Consider attending a local RSS Shakha regularly. Connect with local Swayamsevaks and build a network of supportive individuals who can help you when needed and also increase your awareness. There are no apparent downsides to attending a shakha.

3. Learn basic self-defense and, if possible, take classes. Encourage children in your family, regardless of gender, to participate in such classes from a young age.

4. Start contemplating a ghar wapasi program for people of the subcontinent to return to Hindu/Sanatan Dharma in the long run. Proselytization is undesirable, but when faced with no other option, how else can you counter missionaries and jihadis? Ghar wapasi without coercion should be considered.

5. Support your local temples (those not controlled by hostile state governments) and religious organizations through donations. Their loudspeakers can contribute to safety, and occasionally playing bhajans and ‘Maata ke geet’ can foster unity. Learn from the CAA anti-Hindu riots in Delhi as an example.

6. Educate yourself about your past and scriptures. Respond to false propaganda intelligently and be open to debates and discussions. Understand the fundamentals of Hindu/Sanatan Dharma.

7. Celebrate festivals with enthusiasm and embrace your Hindu identity with pride. Wear Bharatiya attire, use teeka, bindi, bangles, and other cultural symbols as a way to respect your Dharma without being defensive.

8. Remain true to yourself, be respectful, and treat others with humanity. Avoid judging individuals based on their religion or religious practices. Be a good Hindu and know when to stand up for yourself. Learn about national heroes like Shivaji, Maharana Pratap, Rana Hammir, and others.

9. Use your vote wisely. Differentiate between those who consider terrorists as martyrs and those who pay respect to fallen soldiers and policemen. Avoid voting solely based on freebies, considering the situation in Delhi and its potential consequences.
