“Kerala: ABVP defies state ban, marks Partition Horror Day amid left disruptions to honour 1947 victims”, Organiser, August 14, 2025:

“In a resolute show of commitment to historical truth and national memory, the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Thursday organised Partition Horror Remembrance Day programmes across college campuses in Kerala, despite an authoritarian directive from the CPI(M)-led state government prohibiting such observances.

The day marked the tragic division of Bharat in 1947, when the creation of Pakistan on communal lines unleashed unprecedented bloodshed, displacement, and trauma.

ABVP’s events sought to educate the student community about the untold and deliberately obscured stories of Partition, exposing the vested political interests that orchestrated it. “The division of our Mathrubhumi, Bharat, was not a mere division of land, but it created deep wounds in the hearts of our people,” declared ABVP National Secretary Shravan B Raj…….”
