“Women Reservation Bill in new Parliament: PM Modi requests to pass Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam unanimously”, Swarajyamag, September 19, 2023:

“While speaking in Lok Sabha at the new parliament on Tuesday (19 September), Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this session is going to register itself in India’s history.

He pointed out how the Atal Bihar Vajpayee government was unable to pass the Women Reservation Bill due to a lack of numbers.

“Our government has taken a step in this direction. Union Cabinet approved the Women Reservation Bill,” he informed the parliament expressing hope for more women contributions to policy-making……”
