West Bengal: TMC-backed goons allegedly put fire in BJP workers’ houses in Alipurduar

Amid route marches of the Central Forces in the district, cases of political violence have been coming in from different parts. A fresh case has been reported from Falakata under the Alipurduar Lok Sabha Seat. 

As per the reports, on the night of 29th of March, unknown miscreants put fire in the houses of BJP workers. Houses, other things and several motorbikes were burnt. A total of five homes were damaged due to the fire. 

After hearing the news, BJP candidate of Alipurduar Lok Sabha Seat, Manoj Tigga reached the Purba Jharbeltali village under the Falakata block. BJP MLA of the Falakata, Dipak Barman also reached the village and talked to the families. 

BJP candidate Manoj Tigga alleged that TMC-backed goons put fire in the homes of BJP workers. He demanded a proper investigation and arrest of the accused. 

As of now, no one has been arrested.
