Left-liberals pose biggest threat to Hindus: Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma

“Himanta Biswa Sarma claims Left and Liberals pose biggest threat to Hindus”, India Tomorrow, March 3, 2025:

“Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stirred controversy on Sunday by asserting that the Left and liberal ideologies are the biggest threat to Hindus in India.

Speaking at the Vivekananda Sewa Samman 2025 award ceremony, Sarma stated that Muslims and Christians do not pose a threat to Hindus, but rather, the real danger comes from within the Hindu community itself, driven by Left-wing and liberal forces.

“The Left and the liberals are the biggest danger to Hindus,” Sarma declared in his address.

He further claimed that the weakening of the Hindu community in West Bengal was a legacy inherited by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee from the Left and liberal ideologies……”
