“Arise! Awake! and stop not until the god is reached.”
ABVP endorses the ideals of Swami Vivekanand in true sense. ABVP is the only student organisation which has the guts to fight for student rights against authoritarian powers.
While all other organisations that boast in the name student organisations are busy in doing petty politics, ABVP is the only student organisation that is struggling for the issues concerning the students’ community from JNU to Delhi University. ABVP Karyakartas without an inch of fear have opened fronts against the corrupt JNU Administration, Delhi MCD and Coaching Mafias.

ABVP Karyakartas were slammed with proctoral inquiries and hefty fines for raising the issues of widespread corruption and delay tactics of the JNU Administration. Many ABVP Karyakartas are on the verge of termination from their respective courses. ABVP Karyakartas without hesitating have begun an indefinite sit-in against the JNU Administration and are sitting at Samar-Bhoomi (T-Point) since the last 15 days. It’s a round the clock strike wherein every ABVP Karyakarta is devoting himself/herself for the cause.
The ABVP Karyakartas burned all the proctorial notices sent by the JNU Administration collectively and have laid down a 12-point memorandum of demands. Each of the demands is of student importance from infrastructural issues to the academics. Upon the refusal of the JNU Administration to listen to their demands, the ABVP-JNU President gave away his slippers and shoes and announced to remain barefoot until all the demands of the students’ community are accepted. The JNU Campus has a hilly terrain with dense forests, ABVP-JNU President’s decision to remain barefoot defines his determination and accountability towards the JNU Student’s Community.
Due to the continuous non-cooperative sit-in of ABVP and mass support to the movement, the JNU Administration kneeled down first by ordering inquiry for the cases of corruption and then started the construction of SOE and ABVSME buildings. The fact that the same Administration had earlier said that they have no funds was forced to actually start the work after ABVP exposed them. ABVP’s commitment exemplifies with the accountability of its elected representatives. Construction of SOE and ABVSME buildings started after the continuous sit-in of ABVP at Samar-Bhoomi.
ABVP’s commitment towards society is aspiring. Post the tragic death of 4 UPSC aspirants in Rajendra Nagar, 3 of them drowning and one of them dying due to getting electrocuted, ABVP was the first student organisation to respond. ABVP Karyakartas were the first responders to help the students in the evacuation process. ABVP shook the corrupt Delhi MCD and Coaching Mafias with its massive protest and long sit-in at Rajendra Nagar even on flooded streets.
ABVP Karyakartas were brutally lathicharged while protesting against the Delhi MCD mayor Sheilly Oberoi. ABVP-JNU President was flogged extremely and suffered injuries. Dozens of ABVP Karyakartas faced police brutalities. ABVP’s struggle for student rights was trending the whole day, while people applauded ABVP’s commitment towards the students’ community.

While the members of all other organisations left just as police lathicharged, ABVP Karyakartas faced the lathis bravely. The continuous protest of ABVP led Delhi MCD to bow down and start some sort of curbs but their fake claims were busted in a few days when the whole rajendra nagar and parts of Delhi submerged in rainwater after few hours of rainfall. ABVP consolidated its demands by continuing its protest until all the culprits were punished and preventive measures were adopted. However, the concerned authorities failed to address the concern appropriately. ABVP President Rajeshwar Kant Dubey was brutally flogged by the police and his clothes were torn.
While ABVP Delhi continues its protest against Delhi MCD and Coaching Mafias, ABVP-JNU Karyakartas are on the 15th day of their sit-in. On the 12th day of the sit-in, the JNU VC invited ABVP to listen to the demands. She was certain that she could mislead students but ABVP Karyakartas pledged to continue their struggle until the demands are accepted.
ABVP Karyakartas are the first responders in Relief
ABVP Karyakartas are helping the victims of Wayanad landslide by supplying food, clothes, necessities and providing shelter in their homes. While certain organisations care foreign land and natives more than the sons and daughters of Bharat Mata, ABVP continues to serve the soil.ABVP Karyakartas playing active part during relief operations in Wayanad.

As the flames of fire illuminate the room in which the fire is ignited, ABVP continues to illuminate the student sphere of politics. Student politics should only relate with student welfare and student welfare should reach among students coming from all socio-cultural and economic backgrounds is the policy of ABVP.
ABVP Badhe Chalo, Bhrastachar Ke Virudh Lade Chalo ????
