Making Heroes Out of Hatemongers: How Bharatiya Media Promotes Jihadis

Leftist media the world over always creates heroes out of literally nobodies as long as it suits their agenda and their Bharatiya counterparts are no different. Media is a powerful tool that has been misused for far too long to spread narratives that suit a particular ideology. Even though the advent of Social Media (SM) has blunted the influence of Mainstream Media (MSM) to a large extent, a large section of Bharat still depends on MSM. That is why it is all the more important to understand the kind of people they are promoting.

Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) that came into effect just last week has evoked protests all over the country, mainly by fundamentalist Muslims, who have been provoked by a vengeful opposition and an opportunist media that somehow wants to see the downfall of PM Modi. All kinds of falsehoods have been spread about the law and fear mongering is at its peak.

Controversial journalist/fixer Barkha Dutt with Jamia ‘sheroes’ Ladeeda Sakhaloon and Ayesha Renna

With so much of misinformation around, it is not at all surprising that there are people on the streets who have no clue about either the contents or the purpose of the bill. That apart, there are also some opportunists who are eyeing this as a perfect opportunity to peddle their divisive Islamist agenda.

Students from various universities too took to the streets protesting against the Act and the lead in this was taken by Jamia Millia University in Delhi. Why protesting is a democratic right, protests need to be done in a lawful manner. As they say ‘any publicity is good publicity’; the kind of attention the media has been giving to such brazen anti-national acts (setting buses/trains with passengers on fire) has encouraged the rioters further.

As it often happens our media has found two poster girls – they like to call them “sheroes” (sic) – to further their anti-establishment narrative and target the Central Government (not surprising considering their deep hatred for Modi-Shah). But in the name of ‘sheroes’ they are actually promoting hate-mongers and Islamic bigots. Ladeeda Sakhaloon and Ayesha Renna are the new poster girls for our Hindu loathing MSM. Barkha Dutt meets up these sheroes and tries to present them as some kind of revolutionaries.

In this day and age of SM digging up information is not very difficult. Ladeeda Sakhaloon belongs to Kerala and was a student there till December 2018. This thread exposes Ladeeda and her sidekick Ayesha. To cut a long story short Ladeeda and Ayesha protect a ‘man’ from the police and Barkha Dutt tweets that pic and declares the two as sheroes. The man in question is Kerala based (yes just like Ladeeda) Maktoob Media (a pro-Islamist media portal) journalist Shaheen Abdullah. Why would cops chase a journalist and would he then run into a narrow lane where the two would be waiting to ‘save’ him is anyone’s guess.

News agency IANS has provided a detailed expose of the Islamist links of these two sheroes.

Take a good hard look at the video above to understand the mind-set of this latest media sensation. The video is proof enough that their ideology is deeply rooted in Islamism. In addition to a poor understanding of the Act that has just been passed, it is amply evident that CAA is merely an excuse to further their religious agenda. Why else would the girls bring up Kashmir (Article 370) and Ayodhya verdict? Just so that we may not harbour any doubts, they make their anti-Hindu bias and Islamist Jihadi mindset and agenda amply clear in as many words.

Ladeeda Sakhaloon is an active worker of Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), the student’s wing of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, an organisation that many ex-SIMI members migrated to after SIMI was proscribed under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act. To present her like the Bharatiya version of the face of Sudan’s revolution Alaa Salah is totally by design.

These protests have been orchestrated not out of any genuine fear but are simply a method of intimidating the government and furthering the Islamic Jihadi agenda of Islamizing Bharat. If you still have doubts about the jihadi mind-set of media’s latest poster girl, these views from the horse’s mouth itself should make put to rest all doubts.

There is nothing secular or Constitutional about these protests, they are deeply bigoted and rooted in the Islamist agenda; the kind of venom that organisations like Jamat-Ud-Dawa and Jaish-e-Mohammad spew is mirrored here albeit camouflaged in nice buzzwords like  ‘social justice’ and ‘Constitutional values’. The media should in reality be questioning their bigotry but instead they choose to thrust them upon us as some kind of heroes (sorry, sheroes – that’s probably the latest term for hatemongers).
