Hindu organizations have called for a massive protest in Madhya Pradesh’s Damoh against illegal cow slaughter. Legal Rights Observatory (LRO) tweeted about the event scheduled for Tuesday.
Hindu organizations will hold a protest tomorrow (2 January) at Ambedkar Chowk at noon. They have asked all social organizations to participate in the protest against cows being mercilessly slaughtered. Organizations want the state’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government to act against the illegal cow slaughter business.
LRO highlighted the nexus between Kasai Mandi’s illegal cow slaughter business worth crores and officials of Damoh police and collector’s office. The legal rights organization also pointed out that the Damoh police failed to act against the Parwez Kasai gang that attacked police officer Ganpat Ahirwal. They’ve accused the police of failing to seriously crack down on illegal cow slaughter, eyeing a seamless flow of money.
