A Chennai based company had posted in support of the Pakistani cricket team calling Pakistan a “brother”. After widespread criticism the post was removed from all platforms and the company apologised terming it as a mistake of the marketing team. Even though many had tagged Chennai police on social media to bring it to their attention no action seems to have been taken on them so far.
Med Locqr, a Chennai based firm was founded by one Dr.Saravanan Balasubramaniam and a part of Nalam Healthcare IT solutions. It offers service to those with serious medical conditions by way of a digital locker where the medical history of the patients is stored. Upon using the digital health id provided by the firm, the user’s condition will be conveyed to doctors, family, friends, etc. This means that the company is privy to the most personal details of not only their customers but their families as well as all their phone numbers, email ids, etc are stored.
The company’s social media accounts in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc had shared a post on the day the Indian cricket team lost to Pakistan team in the T20 World Cup league match. They had called Pakistan a “brother” and were happy that the country won. They also mocked the Star Sports ad and wrote “Down Down “Mauka Mauka” Star sports”. While congratulating a sports team is one thing, the company has gone far by considering Pakistan which is killing our soldiers everyday on the border as family and revelling in their victory by mocking the Star Sports ad.
Even though the social media accounts of the company don’t have many followers, the post went viral after a few prominent handles pointed out the company’s anti-national attitude. The posts have since been deleted and the company issued an apology but even that seems to have been deleted now. The company is said to be working with ‘Digitally’, a marketing network based out of Chennai.
Twitter users pointed out that being their marketing partner Digitally is also responsible for this anti-national behaviour and campaigned to boycott the services of both Med Locqr and Digitally. While cases have been filed on those who celebrated Pakistan’s victory by raising pro-Pak anti-Bharat slogans in other parts of the country, no action has been taken on Med Locqr yet.
It seems to have become a fashion in Tamil Nadu to oppose everything in Bharat’s name simply to spite the BJP government at centre. However it has enabled those with jihadist and extremist mindset to thrive with the various anti-BJP anti-RSS ideologies providing cover.

Such selfish, delusional comments show a complete lack of empathy for what Hindus and other minorities suffer in the Islamofascist state of Pakistan, and how Pakistan is today the hub of global Islamic terror, the chief victim of which is Bharat. People like you care nothing about the jawans who are dying on our borders, the civilians who were just killed and driven away from Kashmir due to Pak-backed terror groups. If you are a citizen of Bharat, you should be ashamed that you have already forgotten the 26/11 attack which has gone unpunished. Would Israel allow its citizens to cheer an Iran which wants to wipe it off the map? Would South Korea allow support for North Korea to breed on its soil?
