Beware of websites spreading propaganda against pro-Bharat and pro-Hindu activists and intellectuals!

The left-liberal ecosystem doesn’t merely create anti-Hindu and anti-Bharat propaganda but also proactively works to discredit pro-Hindu and pro-Bharat voices. The entire ecosystem is dedicated to running propaganda against nationalist intellectuals, scholars, and activists to discredit them in advance. This vastly affects the reach of the nationalist ecosystem.

Most people are used to typing keywords on Google when they are looking for some information or insight. The moment you key in Hindutva on Google or the name of any of the pro-Hindu and pro-Bharat scholars like Rajiv Malhotra, Anand Ranganathan, etc, the leftist propaganda against these scholars props up before you can actually read up anything by them or anything substantial about their contribution to the narrative exposing the left-liberal.

The moment you key in “Anand Ranganathan”, for example, on Google, the top 3-4 results would be related to his website, his JNU page, his X handle, etc. But after that, the results will be dominated by stuff written against him by the likes of Newslaundry, etc.

A particular website crops up whenever you Google the names of any of the pro-Hindu and pro-Bharat scholars. It’s called Hindutva Profiles dot com. Now, they call themselves a “research project that documents people who are chief proponents of the hateful Hindu supremacist or Hindutva ideology in India and abroad”.

The site then goes on to define Hindutva ironically itself indulging in hate- mongering against RSS, VHP, and Hindutva while claiming to expose Hindutva voices who indulge in hate-mongering. What’s interesting is that this website offers a huge database of profiles of pro-Bharat and pro-Hindu activists and scholars. Anyone who speaks anything positively about Hindu Dharma and critiques the leftist ecosystem is on their hit list. Not just Indians, they also target guileless foreign academicians who might have inadvertently gone against their agenda while undertaking some research or voicing their opinions on an issue involving Bharat.

Their list is expansive and includes the likes of Sanjay Dixit ( The Jaipur Dialogues), Vinodh Kumar (String Reveals ), Vikram Sampat, Shefali Vaidya, Rahul Shivshankar, Aman Chopra, Sudhir Chaudhary, Deepak Chaurasia, Nupur J Sharma (OpIndia), Jeffrey Armstrong ( Vedic Academy of  Science and Arts ), Anand Ranganathan, etc.

The site doesn’t only target well known activists and academicians but spreads its tentacles to attack and demonize even lesser-known activists from local Hindu organizations across Bharat. It’s not just activists and scholars who attack the leftist ecosystem the website demonizes, anyone who speaks or writes anything positive about Hindu Dharma and culture is on their radar. They even have a “Submit a Profile” section in which they urge readers to submit any profile they consider to be spreading “Hindutva hatred” and “targeting minorities”.

Hindutva Profiles even has an X account and one of their latest posts targets an Australia-based Hinduism research scholar Sarah L. Gates whom they call “an unapologetic Hindu far-right scholar who sadistically enjoys the predicament of the religious minorities in India and provides intellectual patronage to the Hindu extremists”.

There is another leftist propaganda website called Hindutva Harassment Field Manual that apparently educates the “targets of Hindutva assaults or oppression”. In their own words, “This Field Manual offers resources for how to defend those attacked and how to educate others”. If this were not about such a disgusting level of hatred for Hindus, one would be almost inclined to laugh at this hallucinatory nonsense these guys are penning down.

The internet is choc a bloc with many such leftist propaganda sites. Even Britannica dot com has entries on Bharatiya Janata Party, Kashmir, Savarkar, etc . It attributes Hindutva to BJP and calls the party “ highly critical of the secular policies and practices of the Indian National Congress”. They also critique the BJP policy in the context of Kashmir. There is no issue in critiquing an ideology or policy. Everyone has a right to do that. But to do that in the garb of providing neutral and objective information is misleading.

Most of these anti-Hindu hate-mongering sites keep the identity of their founder hidden. They don’t even have the guts to come out in the open. These sites just attack pro-Hindu and pro-Bharat icons from behind the walls. Westerns researching Hinduism and related issues are increasingly becoming their targets even as they sing paeons of praise for those western academics who spread venom against Bharatiya culture and civilization.

The thing to worry about is that the nationalists don’t have any ecosystem of their own to profile the real hate-mongering leftist icons who are unfortunately thought of as great intellectual stalwarts by the Bharatiya youth. Hate mongering figures like Arundhati Roy, Meena Kandaswamy, Wendy Doniger, Christophe, Jaffrelot, etc need to be profiled and the public needs to be aware of the kind of vicious propaganda they are creating against Hindu Dharma and Bharat in the garb of scholarship and freedom of expression.

Bharatiyas need to be more pro in terms of actively identifying and blacklisting such hate-mongering websites. We need to work proactively and aggressively to counter the anti-Hindu and anti-Bharat propaganda being created by the left- liberals. One of their favourite tactics is blacklisting and public shaming anyone who doesn’t agree to their viewpoint.

It’s quite similar to methods like public flogging followed by the likes of Talian. The left liberal cabal doesn’t believe in anything called rational discourse. I doubt if they have even heard of it. Their favorite pastime is thus censorship. By creating these kinds of propaganda websites targeting pro-Hindu and pro-Bharat icons, they want to prevent people from even listening to the other side of the narrative.

We don’t have to become propagandists like the left liberals but we definitely need to be more proactive in keeping track of the lies they are constantly spreading to prevent any pro-Hindu and pro-Bharat voices form reaching people.
