While BCCI plays cricket, a colonel, a major, a jawan and DSP made supreme sacrifice in two encounters with Pak-sponsored jihadis in J&K

A colonel and major of the Indian Army and a Deputy Superintendent of Police made the supreme sacrifice as an encounter raged between terrorists and security forces at Kokernag in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Wednesday, officials said.

The firefight started after a joint team of police and security forces got an input about the presence of terrorists in that area. After security forces cordoned off the area, terrorists hiding started firing, drawing retaliation by the security forces. Additional security teams have reached the spot to zero in on the hiding terrorists and to neutralise them.

The 3 hutatmas have been identified as Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Ashish Dhonchak, DSP Humayun Bhat.

In another encounter, this time in Narla area of J&K’s Rajouri district, two terrorists were eliminated and Army Rifleman Ravi Kumar attained veergati officials said on Wednesday.

“In a joint operation, Indian Army and JKP monitored and tracked the movement of two terrorists since 07 September 2023. Own troops cordoned the terrorists and heavy firefight ensued on 12 September wherein one terrorist was killed on the same night. Despite bad weather and hostile terrain, the second terrorist was pursued and neutralized on the morning of 13 Sep after heavy firing throughout the night,” the Army said about the encounter in Rajouri.

The Army said a large quantity of warlike stores have been recovered, including medicines with Pakistan markings.

“One soldier of 63 RR has made the supreme sacrifice and three soldiers have been injured, along with an SPO. An Army dog has also laid down her life,” the Army said.

Bharat continues to waffle over snapping all ties with rogue terror state Pakistan

Despite welcome progress having been made in dealing with the genocidal, rogue nation of Islamic Republic of Pakistan compared to the disastrous kid-gloves treatment of UPA era, the current NDA government has also failed to take things to a logical conclusion by snapping all ties with this terror-sponsoring nation that continues to bleed us on various fronts.

Despite Western obsession with Russia, the fact remains that MNNA (Major non-NATO ally) Pakistan is the most evil, Islamofascist nation on the planet at the moment – the 1971 genocide of 3 million Bengalis by the Pakistan Army, the gradual genocide of Pakistan’s Hindu and other minority population – especially the institutionalized abduction, forced conversion and sex slavery of minor Hindu girls – and the terrorist movements it has spawned all over the region to destabilize Bharat, Afghanistan, Bangladesh – all these actions put it in the same league as Nazi Germany.

Sadly, the Lutyens’ elites still exercise major influence on the policy-making establishment, and chatter about talks-trade-sports with Pakistan pops up from time to time.

While BCCI has not been allowed to play bilateral cricket with Pakistan, it too has tried its utmost to maximize revenue from Bharat-Pakistan matches during multi-nation cricket tournaments like the ongoing Asia Cup. What was even more nauseating was the recent visit to Pakistan by the BCCI President Roger Binny and Vice President Rajeev Shukla, who then waxed eloquent about how ‘they were treated like kings’ by Pakistan Cricket Board.

The Indian media continues to downplay the jihad raging in Kashmir by labelling jihadi terrorists as ‘militants’.

This tweet by Major Gaurav Arya after the Bharat-Pakistan cricket match on 11 Sept will ring true with every right-minded Bharatiya –

Yesterday, Pakistan won the match against India. Surprised? Don’t be. In the larger context, it doesn’t matter to the Pakistani establishment who wins or loses. What matters is constantly engaging with India.

When Pakistan plays against India, Pakistan is viewed as a normal state. When Pakistani actors act in our movies and their singers sing in our films, it hyphenates a relationship that ideally should not exist. So desperate is Pakistan to engage with India that a cricket match is dressed up as “war without blood” which people of both the countries enjoy.

Think about it…no one wants to go to Pakistan. No one talks about Pakistan on the global stage. No nation welcomes them. Pakistan is on life-support; not just it’s financial condition, it’s diplomacy, it’s security and stability but also it’s reputation. It is almost a global pariah. It should sit next to North Korea, not India.

But when India plays Pakistan and 500 million people across the world watch, for that brief moment, Pakistan becomes a normal state. The more we engage with Pakistan, the more normal Pakistan seems, to the world. We are responsible for the mainstreaming of Pakistan. Pakistan rides on our good reputation to live, even if momentarily, in the shadow of respectability. That is our biggest and most unforgivable crime.

Yesterday, technically we won. Actually, we lost.”

The very least we can do for the 1000 Pakistani Hindu minor girls who are abducted and forced into sex slavery each year, for the jawans and innocent civilians whose blood is being shed due to Pakistan’s jihad in Kashmir, is not play cricket, or even think about trade and ties with this evil nation till the evil of Islamism is totally uprooted from it!

  1. Until and unless India recognizes Pakistan as its all-weather enemy (just as Israel takes PLO), it will have to sufer from incalculable losses.

  2. Absolutely! It is ridiculous that we even are having such a discussion. After Mumbai attacks, there is NO WAY we can/should have any sort of relation w/ this terror genocidal state.
