TN man issues bomb threats to RSS offices in UP & Karnataka, arrested by ATS

A man who issued bomb threat to RSS offices in Karnataka and Uttar Pradesh has been nabbed by the UP Anti Terror Squad(ATS). One Raj Mohammed from Pudukkottai, Tamil Nadu has been apprehended in this regard by UP police.

Mohammed had sent the message through WhatsApp in Hindi, English and Kannada to Nilakanth Pujari a member of the Sangh and a professor. Nilkanth received a link to join a WhatsApp grou6 and first and when he joined the group threatening mesages were sent on Monday around 8 PM. The message relayed that including the RSS offices in Unnao, Lucknow and a few places in Karnataka, 5 RSS offices will be bombed.

Nilkanth filed a complaint in Madiyaon police station. Lucknow police registered an FIR and with the help of cyber cell they traced the number which sent the messages to TN. With TN police’s help they identified and nabbed Raja Mohammed. Preliminary investigation revealed that he is unemployed and studying diploma course in a government institution.

He was in touch with people living in Lebanon, Jordan and Syria. He was taken in remand after being produced in a local court and taken to ATS headquarters in Lucknow for further investigation. In light of this threat RSS offices in Karnataka government has decided to provide security to RSS offices in the state.
