SreeKrishna College, Guruvayur, releases anti-Hindu magazine

Protests have intensified against SreeKrishna College, Guruvayur, after they released their Union magazine featuring anti-Hindu images. Recently, the magazine cover of the college working under Guruvayur Devaswom got attention on social media. Students’ Federation of India (SFI), the student wing of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPM), is behind this Hindu blasphemy.

Established 59 years ago, Sree Krishna College is a Guruvayur Devaswom Board arts and science college in Guruvayoor, Thrissur District. The college is barely 6 km from Guruvayurappan temple. The famous Hindu temple is also known as the Dwarka of the South and is dedicated to Bhagwan Vishnu/ the young form of Bhagwan Krishna.

Hindus protested over the images featured in the magazine. Hatred towards Sangh Parivar made those who worked behind the magazine promote the distortion of Hindu values. The front page features a four-armed half-naked Bhagwan-like figure, and Nazi/Hitler’s swastika is placed on a sanyasi’s hands.

Guruvayurappan’s murti installed in the famous temple also has four arms. One has the conch (Panchajanya), another has a discus Sudarshana Chakra, the third one has the mace (Kaumodaki), and the fourth holds a lotus with a basil garland.

The magazine is titled Pasoma Republic. A Pashu is a cow, and Ma is a mother. Its editors have painstakingly depicted Guruvayur temple, and Bharatiya soldiers were shown in a distorted manner. It is interesting to note that such anti-Hindu activities occur in a college under Guruvayur Devaswom.

BJP State Secretary A. Nagesh reminded that the college survives on offerings given by Hindus to Guruvayur temple. Police should file a case against Hindu blasphemy propagated by the SFI cadre. He added that Guruvayur Devaswom should withdraw the controversial magazine and apologize to Hindus.

Nagesh alleged that Guruvayur Devaswom is supporting anti-national efforts to create riots in the country. CPM recently rejected comments from their leader, Adv. K Anil Kumar stated that CPM has influenced the Muslim women in (Muslim-dominated) Malappuram to reject the Hijab.

“Look at the young ladies from Malappuram (a Marxist-established Muslim-dominated district). Girls who firmly refuse to wear a headscarf when someone tells them to are a product of the communist government’s efforts to educate them,” claimed Kumar. (The ground reality is that no Muslim girl will appear publicly without a hijab, especially in Malappuram).

Will the CPM leaders who opposed Kumar’s comments now come forward and withdraw this magazine that insulted Sanatana Dharma? Nagesh asked. The CPM thinks they can openly insult Hindus, and no one will question them. Such thoughts are mere delusions. Either the Guruvayur Devaswom Board should withdraw the magazine or face legal action.

Interestingly, this is not the first time communists from Sree Krishna College have insulted Hindus and the Sangh Parivar. “The 2014 college magazine titled ‘Name’ had used PM Narendra Modi’s nickname ‘NaMo’ as a crossword clue with the purported solution ‘NAyeente MOn’ (s.. of a b….).”

Hindus In Name Only (HINOs) communists and radical Abrahamics have long tried hard to destroy and defame Guruvayur temple. Different regimes have milked the temple for far too long. Though such agendas have progressed, crowds have only increased at the temple. Hindus come in droves from all over Bharat to seek the blessings of Guruvayurappan.
