Pastor forces family to live with policewoman’s decomposed body in the hope of resurrecting her

Another sad instance of a family being torn apart by Christian values has come to the fore through a bizarre incident. Annai Indira, a policewoman was working in the women’s police station in Dindigul. From her marriage to Palraj 15 years ago she has 2 children aged 13 and 9 at present.

Their life was smooth sailing as that of any ordinary family till 2 years ago when Annai Indira converted to Christianity. This caused a difference of opinion between the couple and they have been living separately ever since.

Indira meanwhile rented a house and was living with her children. She applied for VRS a year ago and was waiting to be discharged from duties. Meanwhile, she got some health issues which caused her to go on medical leave for the past two months. Considering her ill-health she went to live with her sister Sakuntala. Neighbors say that none of the family members came out of Sakuntala’s house in the past 20 days.

Recently a colleague of Indira went to the house to give her the VRS approval letter and noticed the bad smell coming from the house. When the police force arrived to check on Indira based on the colleague’s complaint they found her dead. They came to know that she has been dead for nearly 20 days with her body having decomposed. On further enquiries, Sakuntala confessed that the family along with one pastor Sudarshan have been living with the decomposed body for 20 days.

Indira lost consciousness on December 7th and has been bedridden ever since. When the family tried to take her to the hospital for treatment, the pastor scared them that Jesus won’t save her if she is taken to the hospital and that only prayers can save her. So the family along with the pastor prayed with Indira’s dead body in their midst. They had also locked the house from inside. Only the pastor would go out to buy the essentials.

Sakuntala and the children were convinced that Indira was not dead but resting and that she would be resurrected like Jesus Christ. They are said to have repeatedly told the police that the body should be handed over to them as they believe she’ll come back alive.

After performing the autopsy at their house itself Indira’s body was taken for burial. The incident has shocked both the neighbors and those in the police department. Conversion not only tore the family apart but resulted in an untimely death and a gruesome experience for Indira’s children. This incident has once again proved why Abrahamic religions are a bane for Sanatani culture.
