The so-called Dharmasthala mass burial scandal has collapsed under its own lies. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has confirmed that C.N. Chinnaiah, known as Mask Man, fabricated evidence and misled authorities in a sinister plot aimed at defaming the sacred Dharmasthala institution. Under sustained interrogation, Chinnaiah confessed that the skull he paraded as proof of mass graves was never from Dharmasthala but instead sourced from a medical research center, coated with varnish, and nearly 40 years old.
This revelation completely demolishes the malicious propaganda that was deliberately planted to malign Dharmasthala, a centuries-old Hindu dharmic seat of faith and service. Investigations have revealed that Chinnaiah was recruited from Tamil Nadu, financed by vested interests, and even taken to Delhi to meet shadowy figures. Behind closed doors, a larger deal was allegedly struck, exposing how deeply the conspiracy was funded and orchestrated. This was not the act of one man but part of a well-coordinated anti-Hindu campaign to erode people’s faith in Hindu institutions.
The SIT’s forensic report makes it clear: the soil traces on the skull did not match Dharmasthala. Chinnaiah’s changing stories, first pointing to Boliyar, then Kalleri, then elsewhere, prove the narrative was scripted to frame Hindus and spread communal distrust. Yet, mainstream voices that once rushed to amplify this fabricated charge are now silent, unwilling to admit how easily they fell for an anti-Hindu plot.
This deliberate attempt to falsely project Chennayya as Bheem and link him with the Scheduled Caste (SC) identity is not just a lie but a dangerous conspiracy to create caste unrest and defame a revered Hindu institution. By spreading fabricated narratives, Youtuber Mohammed Sameer and his ecosystem sought to pit Hindus against each other while shielding the real anti-Dharmasthala conspiracy.
Lured, coached, and funded to defame Dharmasthala
As per the Organiser, Chinnayya has now laid bare the mechanics of the conspiracy. He confessed that the gang tempted him with ₹5 lakh upfront and the promise of another ₹5 lakh later. To prepare him for his role, he was taken to Bengaluru, where he underwent training sessions on how to mislead authorities. There, he was meticulously drilled on what answers to give during police interrogation and instructed to stick to a prescripted narrative. Acting as a puppet for his handlers, the real sutradhars behind the plot, Chinnayya spun fabricated stories, deliberately feeding misinformation to both investigators and the media. His lies forced the SIT to waste time and resources, carrying out excavations at 17 separate sites, all based on his bogus claims, until the web of deceit finally unraveled.
A new twist emerged when Jayanth T, one of the names mentioned by Chinnayya, admitted that the so-called Mask Man had indeed stayed at Mahesh Timarodi’s house. However, he hastily sought to distance himself from the scandal, claiming, “Shelter doesn’t prove guilt. His case is different. Our only fight is to expose the truth.” Jayanth further denied any role in the skull conspiracy, dismissing the Sujatha Bhat case as completely false, and insisted that neither he nor associates like Girish Mattannavar stood to gain anything personally.
Meanwhile, the SIT has widened its probe far beyond the skull’s origin. The Belthangady police are now zeroing in on the financial trail of YouTuber Mohammed Sameer, whose videos amplified the Dharmasthala and Sujatha Bhat narratives. Investigators are meticulously examining his AdSense income, bank transactions, and possible third-party sponsorships to establish whether his sensational content was fueled by financial greed rather than facts. As one SIT official noted, the team is scrutinizing whether falsehoods were deliberately manufactured and spread to rake in higher revenue through views and clicks.
SIT expands probe as public anger erupts in Belthangady
The SIT investigation has now stretched far beyond Dharmasthala. Teams have carried out search operations in Mandya district and Chikkarsipalli in Tamil Nadu, questioning the complainant’s family, friends, and relatives. The complainant, once a garment factory worker, had shifted to Ujire two years ago to work as a sanitary worker and was residing in the Dharmasthala area during the events in question. Testimonies from him, his second wife, and children are now being treated as key pieces of evidence. At the same time, investigators are intensifying scrutiny into the backgrounds of accused individuals, including Girish Mattannavar and Shetty, who are now under mounting pressure.
The controversy has, however, ignited massive outrage among locals in Belthangady taluk. The Belthangady Taluk Nagarika Hitarakshana Samiti, representing hundreds of citizens, has formally complained to both the SIT and the Tahsildar. In their statement, the Samiti accused vested groups of exploiting the SIT inquiry as a cover to wage a malicious propaganda campaign against the Dharmasthala temple and its revered Dharmadhikari. Declaring the conspiracy an assault on the faith of millions of devotees, the Samiti warned that such false narratives are stirring social unrest and tarnishing the region’s reputation. They demanded that strict legal action be taken immediately against those spreading defamatory lies against the temple.
For months, AltNews co-founder Mohammed Zubair shamelessly amplified lies and half-truths to malign Hindu Dharma and the sacred Dharmasthala institution. Instead of fact-checking, he played the role of a propaganda agent, selectively peddling narratives designed to defame Hindus and sow mistrust among communities. In the Dharmasthala case, he repeatedly circulated baseless claims, trying to project a temple of service and faith as a hub of crime.
But now, as the Congress-ruled Karnataka Government itself arrests the so-called whistleblower for submitting fake evidence to the SIT, Zubair’s mask has slipped. The very evidence he glorified has collapsed as fraud, and in panic, Zubair has quietly deleted his tweets, a desperate attempt to erase his role in amplifying lies. This is the hallmark of the pseudo-secular ecosystem: spread venom against Hindus, and when caught, vanish without accountability.
The web of deceit woven by the Timarodi gang and Mattannavar, hand in hand with propagandists like Mohammed Sameer, was nothing short of a calculated assault on Hindu Dharma. From falsely branding Chinnayya as Bheema to incite caste divisions to using AI-generated videos claiming mass burials to propagating fake stories through Sujatha Bhat to inflame the Brahmin community, every move was part of a well-orchestrated conspiracy to defame Dharmasthala and weaken Hindu society from within. Yet, as history always proves, Dharma cannot be destroyed by lies. In the end, Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha: those who safeguard Dharma will themselves be protected by Dharma, and truth will always triumph over propaganda.
