The bonhomie between Pakistan’s ISI, its terror groups and the Khalistanis is an open secret. For years after India drove the Khalistanis out, Pakistan has been nurturing these elements and are now looking to re-launch them in India.
There have been many instances, where Khalistanis and Islamists have come together to mislead people and create a wedge between Hindus and Sikhs. Bandi Chorr Divas has been such instance, where these people have created a difference between communities for their cynical politics.
However, this time they got a massive bashing from an Army Veteran Satish Bahri.
Thank you for educating all those who’re misleading the gullible that Sikhs & Hindus belong to different religions. I commanded a Sikh Arty regiment which I was blessed to serve during 1971 war.
My two pennies worth on this issue.
India suffered abuse torture and death at hands of invaders for centuries but still survived due to resistance by the bravest among them. They were led by clans/small principalities. It was guerrilla warfare at best. Nowadays they would be known as Commandos/Spec Forces of Hindus.
Must remember that there weren’t any Sikhs till Guru Govind Singh ordained Panj Piaras as Khalsa & all Gurus were Hindus, including thePanj Piaras. So were the 3 followers who were tortured & killed inhumanly before Guru Teg Bahadur was beheaded.
You’d surprised to know that till 1947 Sikhs were enrolled in the Army as Hindus(Sikh) as per the documents seen by me. Many Sikhs have Hindu grandparents & vice Versa. Also except Mardana no Muslim adopted Sikhism. In fact Muslim rulers did their best to kill it in its infancy.
I therefore am amazed at the bonhomie between Khalistanis & Islamists. Have the latter ever accepted the existence of any faith unless they convert or live as 2nd class citizens paying Jaziya? Wake-up Khalistanis before it’s too late.
After writing this thread I expected that a number of Sikh scholars would question statements made by me on 6 Nov. Though the thread got nearly 300 likes & RTs only @deghteghfateh stated on 7 Nov that “You are mistaken, Sir”. When I asked “About what?”. I have yet to get a reply.
