West Bengal: BSF detained a Bangladeshi Muslim infiltrator in Malda

Muslim infiltration from Bangladesh into Bharat through West Bengal continues. This time, vigilant BSF jawans detained a Bangladeshi Muslim woman. Later, BSF handed her to the Police for legal proceedings.

The Bangladeshi woman has been identified as Jyotsna Akhtar Mithu(26). She is a resident of Brindabad village of Chapai Nawabganj district of Bangladesh.

As per the reports, on Wednesday night, she was trying to cross the border fence to enter Bangladesh territory. Jawans of BSF’s 70 no battalion detained her near Sultanpur village of Malda district.

During primary interrogation, the woman said that she entered illegally a few days ago. Now, she is returning.

Later, BSF handed the woman to the Kaliachak Police. The Police filed a case against the woman in relevant sections of IPC and produced her before Malda District Court. The Court sent her to the Police custody for further investigation.
