Within twenty-four hours of the recovery of the dead body of a minor Hindu girl, the police arrested a youth named Muhammad Abbas(22). Today, during the press Meet, DCP Abhishek Gupta said, “After analysing CCTV footage, and talking to the residents, we identified the accused and arrested him.”
Yesterday afternoon, around 3 PM, while returning from school, on the road at Rabindrapally of Patharghata Gram Panchayat area, a boy heard that a girl is screaming in pain. The boy called locals and rushed into an abandoned house beside the road. There, locals found the girl, wearing a school uniform, lying on the floor in a pool of blood. Her face was smashed with a heavy object. Within a few minutes, the girl breathed her last.
Locals informed Matigara Police. Officials from Matigara Police Station along with ACP Rajen Chhetri and DCP Abhishek Gupta reached the spot. The body was soon sent for postmortem.
The Police launched an investigation into the brutal murder after forming a Special Investigation Team. During the investigation, the Police analysed footage from all available installed CCTV cameras in that area. Also, police talked to the locals and roadside shop owners of that area.
In a press meeting, DCP Abhishek Gupta said, “After analysing CCTV footage and talking to the locals, we are able to identify the accused. Around 2 AM, we launched an operation and arrested the accused youth, Muhammad Abbas. He was hiding.”
The Police also informed that during interrogation, Muhammad Abbas confessed his crime.
On the day of the incident, the girl was returning from her school. Muhammad Abbas was following the girl and as the road was lonely, he abducted the girl and took her to the abandoned house. There, he tried to rape the girl. But, the girl resisted and this enraged Abbas. So, he smashed her head with a heavy stone and left.
The minor Hindu girl is identified as Pramita Pradhan(13; Name changed). She was a student at a Nepali medium school in the Darjeeling Mor area.

Islam doesn’t teach this. It is happening for some nominal scholars who giving wrong meaning of Quran. Islam never teaches to kill someone for his religion. Who are doing those things are mentally unstable. There is a very hard rule in Islam for humiliation of girls. The only punishment for this should be death by amputation in live. Then this thing will never repeat by any man.
Stop this nonsense of giving clean chit to rapists by terming them ‘mentally unstable’. Those ‘nominal scholars’ you are deflecting the blame on are far more widespread than you care to acknowledge…all you care for is to defend your religion.
Islam says that girls should wear hijab/burqa in front of men outside their immediate family. We have seen dozens of clerics and Muslim leaders repeatedly state that this rule has been made in Islam to ‘save’ women from being molested/raped….we have seen how non-hijabi girls are dehumanized as uncovered toffees that will invite ants (male attention). When these messages are drilled into young Muslims from childhood, how will that affect their view of non-Muslim women who do not wear hijab or burqa?
Hundreds of cases have occurred where minor Hindu girls are abducted, groomed for conversion and nikah, where the abductor claims that he did the girl a ‘favor’ by converting her to Islam and saving her from hellfire. You think we are all fools that we can’t see what is motivating all this?
And then you have the gall to further push sharia on us by talking of punishments like amputation etc. The Taliban follows sharia – are you saying that women are safe under Taliban rule?
Yes, we need tough punishments and quick trials …but more than that we need a Dharmic system where people are taught how to live a balanced life by focusing on 4 purusharthas, how to control their senses through yoga & meditation, and how to develop compassion by reflecting on the true nature of the Self.

The Islamist doctrine of treating non-Muslims girls as ‘characterless’ objects fit for sexual slavery is directly responsible for the multiple daily crimes we see against Hindu girls in Bharat, Pakistan and Bangladesh.
There is SOMETHING very defective with Muslims that ONLY THEY do such acts. Show me even 3 cases of Hindu or Christian.man doing this to Muslim minor. But Muslim man on Hindu minor you find many cases of grooming each week.
