West Bengal: Islamists attack the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha rally in Birbhum’s Muhammad Bazaar

When the whole country is celebrating the Pran Pratishtha of Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, shocking news has been coming from the Muhammad Bazaar of Birbhum district of West Bengal. Several Hindu youths got injured in the attack. Eyewitnesses say the Police force immediately reached the area and controlled the situation; otherwise, the incident could have been turned worse.

As per the local sources, to celebrate the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha, some local Hindu youths of Jethupara village organised a Puja and a rally. When they were about to start the rally, some Islamists attacked them. The Islamists allegedly threatened the Hindu youths not to give ‘Jai Sri Ram’ slogans. They also threatened them to stop the music.

When the Hindu youths denied it, Islamists attacked them. The Hindu youths were beaten and punched in the face. Soon, a clash broke out. But, the Police force immediately reached the spot and controlled the situation before the clash turned violent.

Later, the injured Hindu youths filed a written complaint at Muhammad Bazaar Police Station. As of now, the Police have arrested two Islamists.
