West Bengal: BSF shot dead 2 Bangladeshi cow smugglers

Now, BSF shot dead two Bangladeshi cow smugglers on the night of 16th December, Saturday.

The dead Bangladeshi smugglers are identified as Sajedur Rahman and Khaza Moinuddin. Both are residents of the Chuadanga district of Bangladesh.

On that night, on-duty BSF jawans saw that a group of Bangladeshi cow smugglers were crossing the international borders of the Krishnaganj area of Nadia district. BSF jawans tried to stop them. But instead of stopping, they attacked BSF jawans and tried to flee to Bangladesh. BSF jawans fired in retaliation. Two smugglers fell to the ground, while others managed to escape to Bangladesh. Later, the bodies were recovered.

The incident created headlines in Bangladeshi media. They are blaming BSF jawans for killing Bangladeshis ruthlessly. In the reports, it is alleged that BSF didn’t return the dead bodies. They also described smugglers as businessmen.
