Uttarakhand: Salon owner Mohammad Sahil arrested for using fake Hindu identity to harass Hindu girls on Facebook

In a troubling incident that has raised significant concerns, Islamist Mohammad Sahil, a local salon owner, has been arrested for allegedly posing as a Hindu named Amit Rawat on Facebook to send friend requests on Facebook and harass Hindu girls.

According to reports from Hindustan, Islamist Sahil, who operates a salon near the polytechnic college in Srinagar Garhwal, was reportedly using the false identity to pressure Hindu girls into engaging with him. The deceptive tactics came to light when BJP leader Lakhpat Singh discovered multiple Facebook accounts on Sahil’s phone during a visit to his salon.

On Sunday, Singh confronted Sahil at his shop, where the presence of numerous suspicious Facebook accounts led to heightened concerns about the salon owner’s activities. The alarming discovery prompted Singh to involve the authorities, leading to Sahil’s arrest by the local police.

On Sunday, Singh entered Sahil’s salon and questioned him about his Facebook activity. He asked Sahil how many Facebook accounts he maintained and for his usernames. Islamist Sahil initially claimed that someone had created fake accounts in his name. However, Singh alleged that Sahil was operating a fake account under the name of Amit Rawat, which was used to send friend requests to many Hindu girls.

Singh demanded to see Sahil’s phone and, upon inspection, discovered multiple Facebook accounts under Hindu names. Singh accused Sahil of creating these accounts to blackmail and deceive Hindu girls by posing as Hindu boys.

The BJP leader forced Sahil to log out of the current account and reveal the other accounts, further exposing the extent of the alleged harassment. Singh warned Sahil of serious repercussions, stating that a cybercrime complaint would be filed against him and that his shop would face potential closure. Sahil has since been released on bail, and the investigation into his activities is ongoing. Authorities are examining the extent of Islamist Sahil’s actions and are working to ensure that justice is served in this case.

Recently, there have been several disturbing reports from northern parts of Bharat, highlighting a troubling trend where individuals with Islamic identities are allegedly manipulating Hindu identities to deceive and coerce Hindu girls. These cases involve people adopting false Hindu names to enter relationships, often leading to marriage under a false pretense. Recently, Islamist Faiz Malik posed as Ankit Thakur to befriend and rape a Hindu minor orphan in Kanpur. A troubling trend is emerging where individuals use fake identities as a precursor to committing severe crimes. This deceptive tactic often leads to serious offenses and exploitation. Hindu organizations and leaders play a crucial role in addressing and preventing such crimes, working to ensure justice and protect Hindus from these dangerous radical Islamism practices.
