“The Banda police in Uttar Pradesh have arrested a youth named Rambabu Tiwari aka Nasir Hussain on charges of threat, intimidation and extortion. The arrest was made following a complaint lodged by his Hindu parents who alleged that their son, after converting to Islam, started threatening to kill them for property and money.
In their complaint, the family also named four local Muslim youths, accusing them of brainwashing their son to join Tablighi Jamaat, following which Rambabu Tiwari converted to Islam and became Nahir Hussain.
Rambabu’s Brahmin family alleged that after converting to Islam, Rambabu aka Nahir Hussain started demanding Rs 5 lakh and asking them to transfer the property to his name. He has threatened to kill them if they don’t do so within 3 days…..”
